I love it! Unskilled illiterate people give me job security.

It's an assumption (asshole ignorant one at that) that migrants cannot read.  All the immigrants I've known have more skills and a wider range of skills than 75% of the shroomery.

I work with them every day. Quite a lot of them cannot in fact read.

Not knocking them. I get along fine with most of them. I’m standing here right now with three amigos.

Right wingers don't really want to invest to make America great.  They want to pull the plug on everything except military and police.  Which .DOESN't make the feds smaller at all.

North East, we love Canadians. Lucky for them they just cruise back across the border when they get sick.

What if they were refugees from a country like Norway or something? Lol

Norway is fine IF we had a shortage of labor, but that's not the case today.  Again, when we see several decades of solid real wage growth, then we can discuss LEGAL immigration into the US. Until that happens, I don't want to hear about it.

ok, let's test your degree of bias here. if there's a shortage of labor which country's immigrants do you prefer? it would seem to me that you at the very least unintentionally heavily prefer the company of "white folks" lol. furthermore, you can't help but stereotype and generalize the people that are currently involved in this.

trump telling women in congress to go back to their countries when they're mostly native born citizens and his own wife along with her family are here thru chain migration. what is hypocrisy exactly? the writing is pretty much on the wall...

IF there were ever to be a true shortage of labor, the immigration would be done with LEGAL immigration. So that would involve discrimination based on who has the skills and education to meet that shortage of labor.

Many countries require immigrants to not only have great employment and language skills, they must also have a certain degree of monetary resources. In other words, the immigrants can't be broke.

The US is a big sucker when it comes to immigration, no standards at all.

and which countries require immigrants to have money?

im sure this has been said over and over, but i guess it needs repeated again and again to qman:

The majority of migrants are coming here seeking asylum.

you do know what asylum means, dont you?

No he doesn't.

It's obvious  this administration and many others don't see the situation improving nor bad enough for it to be political asylum.  Nor do they invest much other than military and DEA action down there.  Corruptly I strongly suspect as well.

It's keep the cocaine smuggling in WASP control agenda.

"seeking asylum"

Yes, that's their claim, but it doesn't make it true, does it?  Do you know who decides if it's a valid claim?  The US.

Also, the first country you reach is the country you seek asylum in, not the US.

That is why they are trying to change the way people are aware of these things.  As you said, these are illiterate people.  I'd bet they can read, a number of them well enough.  Most Americans don't even come close to knowing American law.  Let alone international law.

The thing is, asylum is when a catastrophe happens (war included). It isn't the case for america/europe asylum seekers. Most of them are running away because economic reasons.

I mean, my situation in spain is awful. i work 60+h/week and i barely pay the rent. Should i seek american asylum? because i cannit. What if i were homeless and with cancer? should i go to america to get the best doctors to treat me and to get a nice home and a nice job? nope, i had to fix it myself in this country.(and thank god here we have free healthcare).

If you open your borders to immigration i want a piece of cake too. I want the american freedom and the american dream.

That's the dumb understanding. Not the reality at all.  It's because idiots vote that scares a lot of people with an actual brain that can think critically.
