There are obvious good and bad reasons behind invading. Granted we invaded for oil, we alose invaded iraq for a foothold in a very conflicting region. To begin to say that the people of Iraq loved Saddam makes me sick. There are iraqi's testifying about how there families were killed or infants thrown against walls and countless other horrible things. But I also dont agree with invading Iraq, then dissolving there police force, then wondering why the country is unstable. It is sad to know that I, a white kid from washington, can do a better job invading Iraq than our leader.

War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. The decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks that nothing is worth war is much worse. The person who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself. ~John Stewart Mill

Saddam Hussein commited a lot of autracities against people who didn't support him. Anyone against the war in Iraq is a supporter of Saddam Hussein.

We don't need to invade any country to get oil. We drill for our own and buy the rest from other countries. Coal is the most abundant fossil fuel on earth and we have 250 years worth of it, so we're not short on energy.

who said we were short on energy? its the oil that we have to buy more of once our domestic supply runs out, and the smaller the supply of oil the more expensive it will be, which is why we must take what we can while we are in the middle east.
