Whatever they are, they are called 'smart bombs.' My point was meant to be one of sarcasm, not technical accuracy. No matter how 'smart' a weapon is, innocent people still die. Munitions DO NOT distinguish between friend or foe, moral or immoral. War is not an enterprise where morality triumphs, where good wins, it occurs when men have failed to act morally. A war may be justified (at the most) from one side only, if that side is defending itself or defending another. War is never good or right, the closest it comes to that is when it is a defensive action. War is a consequence of failure.

To call humans 'rational beings' does injustice to the term, 'rational.' Humans are capable of rational thought, but it is not their essence. Humans are animals, beasts with complex brains. Humans, more often than not, utilize their cerebrum to rationalize what their primal instincts, their preconceived notions, and their emotional desires have presented as goals - humans are rationalizing beings.
