Since you two have such great evidence of this report being subjective bring some counter evidence. Semantics isn't cutting it.


I already did, they're putting people and the groups they may or may not associate with into certain categories that are subjective.

The Fox channel LABELS Bernie Sanders "a radical left-wing socialist" most of the time, that description is subjective.



Actually that would be one of the most accurate things Fox News has ever said IMO. Bernie Sanders' appeal to me is that he is a radical left-wing socialist.

There is nothing scientific about their subjective view points.

Now if you want to state you agree with the fashion they define "domestic extremists" and "right-wing extremist movements" that's fine, but it's still a matter of opinion. :shrug:

Did you fail to comprehend the purpose behind that link, Koods? A linked example of a self-proclaimed white nationalist publication denouncing the John Birch Society as being too Jew-friendly? Say it ain't so. I thought JBS was anti-semitic according to the SPLC. I mean afterall, the SPLC uses scientific-like methodology so their designations are never wrong. :smirk:

That logic doesn’t follow.


Here’s an example:

DSA is an organization that is against capitalism
The Black Bloc is an organization that is against capitalism

The Black Bloc is farther left than DSA, and more harsh in their condemnation of capitalism.


If someone from Black Bloc wrote an “article” about how DSA is a bunch of social democrats who don’t actually advocate the overthrow of capitalism, but rather an expansion of welfare programs, it wouldn’t follow that DSA is pro capitalism. Black Bloc is simply MORE anticapitalist.

I see this kind of argument all the time on the left.

The logic is actually really simple to follow. JBS is opposed to communism, which includes but is not limited to Bolshevism, whose founders and main proponents happen to have been Russian Jews. Neo-nazis are similarly opposed to Bolshevism, except unlike JBS, neo-nazis aren't just opposed to Bolshevism, they're opposed to Jews in general. That's a pretty important distinction.
