Not sure what your point is? Are you saying he intentionally writes like a 10 year old to get attention? That he's actually highly literate but none-the-less writes like a high school dropout on purpose?

That's hilarious

No he writes like that because he's lazy and stupid

The media is making him more popular by attacking him. He would fizzle out allot quicker if they would let his infantle tweets/bait go....but they can't resist the money:

https://www.cnbc.com/2018/04/23/trumps-fake-news-fight-has-helped-media-ratings-and-readership.html

Surprise firings, criminal investigations and vague statements that have world leaders scratching their heads has turned President Donald Trump's administration into political theater.

And the media – one of Trump's favorite go-to targets- is reaping the benefits. Experts expected media ratings to normalize after the election when the NFL and other popular TV shows started to air. That's clearly not the case.

New York Times subscription revenue grew to more than $1 billion in 2017. It wasn't even affected by Donald Trump's constant criticism, including cancelling a meeting with the publication because he called their tactics of changing interview rules "not nice."

But it's not just the New York Times seeing the benefit. Another frequent subject of Trump's ire – the Washington Post – hit more than 1 million digital subscriptions for the first time in September 2017.

A "60 Minutes" interview with President Donald Trump's alleged mistress Stormy Daniels was viewed by 22 million people. It was the show's highest ratings in 10 years.

And CNN, Fox News and Politico have sustained higher readership rates ever since the 2016 election according to comScore.

Trump's constant tweets led one analyst to estimate he was worth as much as $2 billion to Twitter, writing "there is no better free advertising in the world than the president of the United States" in his notes.

The midterm elections are approaching this year. A new storyline of Democrats trying to win control of Congress is continuing to emerge. It's only going to add fuel to the Trump storylines, which means, buckle up, we're in for even more political coverage. And it's all good news ahead for the media business.

Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me.
And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.”

You can tell the tweets he writes because they are littered with grammatical errors and misspellings. Come on qman, you know deep down that trump is dumb as a bag of bricks

"littered with grammatical errors and misspellings"

That's part of the troll, if it wasn't a troll he would find someone to help him with his tweets. I'm sure Trump and the gang laugh their asses off when the MSM gets triggered by his "errors". He's a troll master, that's part of his brilliance.

Who exactly is the target of his trolling though? Who does it benefit? The MSM, the left, other countries? He's supposed to be leading the US, which includes the left and the media, and working with other countries. This isn't one gang vs another, we're supposed to be working together. I know we fight alot, we disagree on a lot of shit, and many of us feel those differences are untenable, but regardless how we view it shouldn't the leader at least be trying to hold us together? This just seems insane to me that someone can view that as a rational way to lead someone. If a company were ran like this you would have all sorts of infighting, chaos, and a lack of stability. That's not how you run a business much less a country.

It is how you run a company into the ground

His supporters despise The Establishment, that's how Trump took down 15 establishment Republicans and the huge establishment Democratic favorite while fighting off the MSM.

"leader at least be trying to hold us together?"

Yes, in a perfect world that would be ideal, but we're too far gone at this point. The US has now entered second and third world style politics, I expect more of the same or even worse down the road.

So maybe that's reasonable to build his base and win the election, but he's president now, he won. It's time to do the job of a leader, not a candidate.

What does, 'too far gone' even mean? That's like saying your house is, 'too far gone' so instead of cleaning up your mess you start pissing and shitting on the floor. It's not like it's an appliance that you can just throw out and replace, this is a country, we live here and we will have to keep living here. 'Too far gone' is not an option.

Did you watch the Trump and Sanders political rallies?  People are pissed and angry with The Establishment, the corruption and economic issues are reaching a boiling point now.

Yes, our political system is too far gone now, I don't think we're going to return to normal R and D politics in the years ahead. The next economic downturn is going to turn this whole thing upside down.

That's what many people want, "more fuel on the fire" to burn this sucker down and start new again.

The Establishment wants Trump gone for a very good reason, he's too unpredictable for their liking and he puts naughty thoughts into peoples minds.

Would it be safe to assume that at least 2/3's of the voters wanted either Trump or Sanders out of all the candidates in the last election?  They both ran very anti-Establishment campaigns, what exactly are you objecting to here?

Sure many want it, but that doesn't make it a good idea. That doesn't mean the leader should listen. You can see why that is bad right? How it would not result in anything positive? Best case I see that leading to a war and/or total collapse of the US as a superpower. That may eventually lead to something better but in the same sense that burning your house down would eventually lead to a clean room, you'd have to build a new house which may or may not have a clean room, which may or may not be remotely as nice as the messy old one. What do you think Trump/we should do?

Considering that Forbes has admitted to overvaluing his wealth by 2000% in the past, i doubt he's anywhere close to being a billionaire. Trump lies about his wealth. He always has. He brags about his wealth constantly and refuses to ever present evidence that would prove it and his stupid followers believe him. It's truly amazing.

Did anyone miss this story?

Donald Trump Denies Posing as Publicist in 1991 Interview

Basically people are claiming Trump pretended to be his own publicist in order to hype up his net worth to make the Forbes list, Trump has denied it but that doesn't really mean much

Quote:
Trump posed as “John Miller” or “John Barron” throughout his career when talking to reporters to promote positive stories about himself and float dating rumors. The Post obtained an audio recording of a decades-old interview between Miller and People magazine reporter Sue Carswell that reveals Trump’s spokesmen sounded nearly identical to the now presumptive Republican presidential nominee — from his tone, to his cadence, to his catchphrases.

Carswell told NBC News Friday she has no doubt that the audio is authentic, and is of the interview conducted back in 1991.

"It's absolutely Donald Trump," Carswell said. "There's no doubt in my mind," she added.

On the TODAY show Friday, Trump denied ever posing as his own publicist. But in a court case in 1990, Trump testified under oath, "I believe on occasion I used that [John Barron] name." And a July 13, 1990 Newsday article states: “At one point, Trump, who spends millions of dollars advertising his name, acknowledged that he has used an alias, 'John Baron.' 'I believe on occasion I used that name,' Trump said, not elaborating."

Looks like many of the D's are sick of this Russian witch hunt nonsense. Time to move on, it's a nothing burger.

Funny:

Republicans Push Bill To Protect Mueller, Without McConnell's Support

Quote:
Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., does not support a measure that would make it harder for President Trump to fire special counsel Robert Mueller, but that isn't stopping some Republicans from forcing the debate.

North Carolina Republican Thom Tillis said Wednesday that he will continue working on a bill to allow Mueller access to speedy judicial review if Trump tries to force him out of his job leading the Justice Department investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election — with or without McConnell's support.

"We'll have a markup and a vote in committee," Tillis told reporters. "It's something that can lie in the Senate chamber. Facts may lead to passage or not."

Tillis said he plans to continue lobbying leadership on the bill, even after McConnell explicitly rejected the legislation.

"This is not necessary, there's no indication that Mueller is going to be fired," McConnell said in a Fox News interview on Tuesday. He added, "We'll not be having this on the floor of the Senate."

But Tillis and other supporters of the bill say they aren't backing down. Sen. Jeff Flake, R-Ariz., said Wednesday that the goal isn't necessarily to pass a measure with the hope of forcing Trump to decide between signing the bill or issuing a veto. The real goal, he said, is to send the president a message.

"If the goal — and I think it should be — is to convince the president not to take this action," Flake told reporters, "I think the message needs to be that we take this very seriously."

There are plenty of Republicans who say they agree the issue should be taken seriously, but they want to lobby Trump quietly — not through an aggressive public measure like voting on this bill.

Supporters of the legislation say that's just wishful thinking. Sen. Richard Blumenthal, D-Conn., said Tuesday that Republicans who hope they can persuade Trump not to fire Mueller through such discussions aren't facing reality.

"If he's not listening to his own lawyers, I don't think he's going to listen to a bunch of U.S. senators," Blumenthal said.

Trump has crossed Republicans on a number of issues, like the recent tariffs on China. Many in Congress have grown wary of a string of White House firings — like that of former Secretary of State Rex Tillerson — that came without any warning. Blumenthal said Trump could do the same to Mueller.

:rofldrunk:

I assumed he meant Democratic politicians :facepalm3: But I didn't really feel like clicking on a "hot air" or "buzzfeed" article

It's funny as even if some Dem politicians opposed the investigation, it's not like they have to pay attention to all the details so that wouldn't be surprising. But Republicans going against their party to support the investigation seems like a huge difference, especially compared to unsourced "dem voters"...
