Right and you engaged me in conversation about that.

I actually did say in my first post how some thought the bread and wine which is supposed to represent the blood and body of christ was actually considered by some to be a mushroom.

The mushroom itself is but accessory to the point.

You engaged yourself with the initial proposition of 'That wasn't my experience' when the subject of Christ was elaborated upon.

I was interested in your elaboration of your experience, to confirm, that, indeed, you had not witnessed such a thing and that was clearly confirmed.

Right I did not.  However as to the topic of the thread I stated as you did that some feel that the mushroom experience was a portal to Christ Consciousness.  My experience did not verify that. For me it was something beyond that. And I described it when asked about it.

Understood.

There is nothing beyond Christ, but I'll rephrase it; the mushroom is a *potential portal to Christ provided that certain conditions are met - paradigm specifically.

I'll repeat also then, Christ is just a story. There is much beyond the stories we tell.

Consequently, your effort to revolt rises strength to the fact that you know little of the subject.

I'm going to say the same for you about what lies beyond the telling of stories.  Shall we keep this up forever or shall we let each other have our own experiences rather than thinking we know what is true for anyone beyond ourselves?

I was raised Christian, and experienced Christ... except it was the opposite of many things that where "told" to me. I still carry those truths with me today, so much so,that I would be considered a "false witness" by many Christians.

Did I actually experience Christ? If so, how could this cut against the grain of what is considered truth.... in the Christian religion?

Good question but how does it relate to the topic? I think we've drifted off track long enough.

You naturally have liberty to cease whenever you so please, but if you purport something as astronomical as Christ consciousness as a simple, trivial experience of the Tao, I will probably find due cause to correct - at least for the sake of others who may be humble enough to seek and indeed, comprehend.

There is a significant difference between claiming subjectiveness for something which may indeed be subjective, as opposed to claiming something is subjective because you don't have any idea of the subject matter.  I stated quite clearly that Christ was but one translative of the same principle and I experience it in multiple forms, yet it has the very same underlying quality.  It's exactly for this reason why theology has, to some degree, a substance for discussion amidst the otherwise ineffable and why a lot of texts, even read post experience, are relatable.  Rather than screaming uniqueness and independence, it's best to invest and look for what we all have in common.

By your own admission, you claimed that it hasn't been your experience and you elaborated into something which resembles the experience of the Tao (a very common, repetitive experience) and actually labelled it as the Tao.  Everyone who let's go, by an inkling, reports witnessing this, multiple times over in almost every mushroom experience.  Despite this, you are still trying to save face.  The Tao for clarity is not Christ - it's the Tao and respectively recorded and referenced.  You have stated nothing which resembles Christ in any form, but the Tao.  If you believe otherwise, then you achieve nothing but severance of seeking the actual subject matter which will, when effectively found, pay you dividends.

You're right about one thing. I've experienced nothing which resembles christ in any form in all my years of psychedelic use even if I would not have been against that.  Which is what I basically said to start this off. I experienced something without a name and which cannot be described as far as I know. You can call what you experience anything you want because I have no idea how much of anything you've actually experienced. People say all sorts of things.

The Tao says that the great Tao cannot be described. That's my only reference to Tao. There was no words to describe what I experienced.

There's nothing for you to correct imo. You don't know what I'm talking about because you weren't there and didn't experience it. What I experienced was not christ.

It's good to see this fact established since your experience perhaps pertains to another topic and your particular experience discussed within its correct place would garner less disagreement and potentially more amicable feedback.

Your experiences are your own, granted, though what you describe would be concluded as the Tao, which you so termed yourself.

Ineffability is not liberty to name everything anything (regardless of true Tao inexpressibility and nullification), and so my efforts of correctness are merely based on the  the fact that Christ is not the Tao.

I think you misunderstood my first post. Your response to me was right in line with what I was saying about Bishop Pike.  Bishop Pike left or was forced out of the Church because he came to believe that the disciples used a mushroom as a way to reach christ consciousness. He came to believe that Jesus as a person actually might have never existed but might have been  metaphoric or something. That wouldn't surprise me or that mushrooms were the sacrament.  Not that I'm big on christianity per se. I did grow up with it however and at one time read the bible a lot.  I liked the PKD story about and felt it was relevant to the topic. That's about it until you started telling me what things are for me which isn't true at all.

An unnecessary addition perhaps in your edit, especially when it is one which doesn't stand true.

My emphasis is that you definitely do not describe Christ.

It's puzzling, albeit intriguing that it reached this point before you admitted to speaking of something different.

Jesus certainly isn't a mushroom and 'Christ' is a paradigm and assigned suffix title and having acquired that paradigm.

It is true. I quoted you.  That is  your words.

I was never trying to describe christ and never once said I was.  I was telling the OP what someone else said.  My initial post was not directed to you.

I'm not quite sure what you are suggesting, or why your efforts traversed 4 pages before you admit your yourself that you were not addressing me and the subject of Christ...

It's obvious I wasn't addressing you. That post was to the OP and his name was on it. Then you addressed me and started trying to school me about shit I never said or claimed.  I was talking to the OP and you  somehow thought this was all about you. You addressed me and I responded  not the other way around.

His are not the only efforts that traversed 4 pages. He also did address the subject of christ (that is what this thread was supposed to be about), but it was not towards you. I ask you, why do you persist in talk condescendingly to people about your christness? You made your point(s). Why not let it be? Did christ attempt to ram his teachings down the proverbial throats of people? No, he (according to the bible) taught those willing to listen to his teachings. You are very far from being anything close to what christ was claimed to be. The fact that you do not see this, even in the slightest escapes me.
