Jesus christ was actually a ball of light, with the fountain of youth controlling a sacred temple in which his seat was the pineal gland. he spoke of unfathomable truths and did miraculous healing.

Only opinions of those who know and those who don't.

It's pliable for those who have no clue, but that's not to say it's not within their grasp, since, indeed, it's within them an always has been.

It is a materialist fallacy to say that Jesus is a mushroom. The mushroom is only important because of the altered state *experience* that it causes when it is eaten.

Jesus is not the physical mushroom, rather he is an anthropomorphic description of the psychedelic altered state, in particular, the experience of mystical ego death, which is the revelation of timeless determinism via control-loss (bad trip, panic attack, temporary psychosis).

This is the esoteric, insider understanding of Jesus and Christianity. From the point of view of exoteric outsiders, Jesus is a historical person who lived in Nazareth 2000 years ago

I never said Jesus was a mushroom. I said eating the body and blood (symbolic) of Jesus was the partaking of a type of psychedelic mushroom which got you in contact with Christ Consciousness. I think this is what Bishop Pike came to believe and likely caused his death in the desert with only a coke bottle to drink looking for it in some caves in the desert in Israel. He lost his faith in the church and found it in the desert.:satansmoking:

I know and you can too, since you're no different.

Your definition of Christ was put as the Tao which consequently demonstrates confusion.

I'm reminded of a guy who I know who was ex Army, served in Vietnam.  Though a friend, he spends most of his time being rude on business forums as a result of his life dissatisfaction and depression (though I'm not proposing that to be reflective of yourself).  Although religious talk is prohibited, it crops up frequently and he perpetually revolts against it. In one conversation he admitted:

'I don't mind religion. I just don't like people claiming they know something that I don't'.

This was the finest, conclusive clincher which demonstrated brilliantly the extreme of his ego - the very thing which was hindering him from understanding what he didn't know whilst negating his quality of life.

Needless to say, we don't enter into life with absolute knowledge.  We are in a constant state of learning, and indeed, there are things which exist which we are absolutely oblivious to and there are things that others know which we do not. This is the function, purpose and beauty of life.  I'm currently learning a piano piece from a 9-year-old.

Resist getting frustrated because you don't know and strive to prove that you do, for striving to actually know will yield results that will transform you to a degree of which you can't even begin to image.

It isn't an 'us and them'.  The fundamental, pressing point is, that it is us.  Revolting divides and causes blindness to the reaching hand which bids to extend.

Bring down the walls, open yourself up and this will become as clear as day.

Case in point.

When you desire a quality of something, it's best to contribute towards it with your own positive efforts, instead of simply exploiting yourself as being immature.

I never said Christ was like the Tao. I think the confusion is on your end. No point going further. I've learned the hard way once someone is sure without a doubt they have the truth there is no more real discussion that can happen.

You commented 'at least that's your experience' when I addressed the experience of Christ and you elaborated upon your experience and described it as the Tao.

The subject is Jesus Christ and so my post related to that.  General mushroom experiences would be regarded as another topic.

There was awareness there was knowledge but it was all limited and my own. there was no way to tell what reality actually was because it was beyond comprehension  I got the message that everything we tell ourselves is a limited story and suspect due to our emotional makeup. That's what I have taken away from a lifetime and hundreds of trips of differing varieties. From Salvia to MDMA. If anything I would say Tao comes closest to expressing it. That the Tao is unknowable. End of story for me.

Here's the quote and it in no way relates the Tao to Christ Consciousness. In fact I made the statement that my experiences had nothing to do with Christ Consciousness IMO. You're reworking my words so they support your position. That's why I said further discussion with you is pointless.

As stated, the comment 'That wasn't my experience' suggested that you were claiming experience of Christ consciousness and concluding differently.

Your stated experience is mispositioned in the topic, since, as noted, it is a general mushroom experience or at least one that pertains to the Tao - not Christ.

You're a real piece of work.  I even said that liking it to the Tao wasn't really correct but that might come closest to any philosophy. There was a lot going on off topic as with all threads. You really need to be right here and that's plain to see. So I'm going to leave you to it.

Your angst is unfathomable and unjustified since what I stated was an early, initial response by you, which doesn't relate to the topic.  The topic is Jesus Christ (being a supposed mushroom) - not the Tao, regardless of the terminology you may stretch to use.  It, for certain, is not Christ consciousness and your elaboration confirmed this.

Your contribution, therefore, could be seen as simple naysaying, as unfortunate as that potential reality is.

The topic of Tao is because another and you wanted to know what my actual experience with  mushrooms was like. I would have never entered it into the conversation had I not been asked. Want me to show you where?

You should think about posting in the political forum. You'd feel right at home.

Your reply to my post relating to Christ was 'That wasn't my experience', indicating that you had experience of the subject.

Your elaboration, however, revealed experience of something entirely different.

You should consider entering a conversation if your experience actually pertains to the subject matter.

Indeed, and your experience is not Christ.
