Trump fired Comey in May, giving the excuse it was because of Comey’s handling of the Clinton investigation. But Trump later admitted in an interview and to Russian diplomats in the Oval Office that he ousted Comey because of the FBI’s investigation into allegations of collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia to influence the 2016 election.

Not a single lie in that entire video.  :picard:

The only piece that even comes close to a lie was when Trump answered the question of "Do you have a relationship with Vladimir Putin?" and Trump answered "I do have a relationship".  However, if you knew the context of that statement, you'd realize it was a response to Russia getting the Miss Universe Contest which Trump knew Putin wanted.

No, I don't know what was said in the Oval Office but if this report is true, he fired Comey for the FBIs investigation of collusion or that just what he said... I'm just trying to keep up because it's interesting to me.

Ok, if you won't watch the video you posted, I'll explain it.  Yes, he fired Comey in part because of the investigation - because it was dragging out too long without turning up any evidence of Trump illegally colluding with the Russian Government.  And his replacement isn't doing any better...

Dude. He said he spoke directly with Putin, then two years later he said he has never spoken with Putin. ONE OF THESE STATEMENTS HAS TO BE A LIE.

It's kind of like him saying he has a "relationship" with Putin.  Putin wanted Trump's Miss Universe to be held in Russia, so at the time, Trump claimed there was a relationship with him.  Trump later went on to say it depends on how you define relationship.  Same thing here.  Trump never had a conversation with Putin prior to being President, but he might have said hello during the 60 Minutes episode where they were both interviewed.  Is that speaking with him?  Sure, you can make the argument that he lied.

It does make sense coming from the POTUS because he doesn't even fully believe our intelligence community in respect to the situation.

If setting up a back door communications with Russia via the Russian embassy and taking meetings with people he believes to be from... insert favorite version of truth here... for opposition information from another government. Well there are rules against that but, I digress because it never happened, or did it?

It's takes a long time to get the truth when people aren't forthcoming

ok, then you need to get it in there, quick. lol

PS: there is nothing in the constitution that would prevent non-citizens from being treated as if they had no God-given rights (erm, Creator given, to be more specific), but not that they can vote on governmental matters. they could, in the old days, opt to live as a non-naturalized freeman, and follow the rule of the law, and people would have left said person alone, unless they were captured and put into slavery, or something, which would be unlikely if said person had a home and paid his taxes and ect.
