We may never get hard proof. The evidence that the trump campaign was willing to entertain working with the Russian to smear Clinton is already established. The reason I think there is something there is the fact that trump lies like crazy to cover any connection to russia. Now we know he was in talks to build the worlds tallest building in Moscow less than two years ago, yet he says he has zero connection to the country. He lies about everything concerning russia. That is reason enough to dig into his campaign and flip every stone. It's his own fault we are at this point. He acts guilty as hell.

He's not "covering" his connections to Russia.  He's simply stating that he hasn't done anything illegal or immoral, which appears to be correct.

I think you mean prima facie.  It means "on its face."  In the law, a prima facie case is the barebones evidence of the elements to state a claim.

That's just a Nothing Burger.  It's never been shown that the lawyer Trump Jr met with was a Russian agent, and so Trump Jr had no obligation to disclose the meeting, which he did anyway.

Wow, Trump actually looked VERY good in that interview and made some EXCELLENT points I hadn't heard before.  It's rare to see Trump say something in full context like that.

And since the video shows the full context, it is also very clear that at 10:10 he was specifically talking about his FINANCES; that he had taken no loans or investments from Russia, and also that he doesn't have any investments in Russia.

So someone on the Trump team thought building a Trump tower in Moscow would help Trump win the presidency for whatever reason.

A Trump Tower was never built in Moscow, which wouldn't have been illegal if it was.

Certainly not a nothing burger when it comes to probable cause for a criminal investigation since it clearly shows the trump campaign intent. It doesn't really matter if smurfs showed up to the meeting, the point is that they THOUGHT they were meeting with representatives of the Russian government to discuss "official documents" that would make Clinton look bad. This is the same week the DNC hacking operation ended and one of the guys who attended the meeting was involved in two serious corporate hacking scandals.

You can keep saying these are nothing burgers but there's a fuck load of nothing burgers.

Aren't you the least bit curious why the trump people lie so much about anything Russia?

I've been explaining how everything you believe is misleading.

In the example above, when Trump said he had "nothing to do with Russia", it was clear by watching the video in context that he was referring to the fact that that he had taken no loans or investments from Russia, and that he doesn't have any investments in Russia.

Can you prove otherwise?  Or do you prefer being mislead?

I don't believe a word of it, and neither should you. I will assume he is lying. He can clear it up by releasing his tax returns. He won't. I assume he is hiding something.

Trump has absolutely zero credibility. His denials are worthless.

Which is it? Did he know putin or not? The answer depends on what bullshit he's spinning.
