i must say i was cringing a bit as i was reading along, but glad to hear you had a good trip, and props to you for going through with what you said you were gonna do...i've actually had some of my best dmt experiences being a bit drunk beforehand (in these instances i most likely wouldn't have had the balls to go ahead and just fucking do it if i wasn't)

I completely agree with the above mentioned quoted post 100% and what you said in previous posts about the Shroomery being a community. 

People have different models of the world and how they experience it. And we must respect their unique model they call reality.

I just started my psychedelic journey last year with a hunt for wild  Paneaolous Cyanescens or Tropacalis.

What initially came as a quick thought of "how do I find what I am looking for?" led me directly to this community and its abundance of invaluable knowledge.

Whether it's that old saying "the shrooms find you" or not, without this community, and its influence of the thought process and observational skills necessary to find an active species, I could have easily ingested something that made me terribly sick or worse -- Death.

Even though I am a hermit tripper as I have no friends or associates offline who indulge in psychedelic mushrooms, the people here on Shroomery have assisted in allowing myself to enable a more meaningful experience of living life.

I have learned so much from mushrooms both active and gourmet, however, my psychedelic journey wont stop at Pan Cyan. It would be absolutely asinine for me to neglect the opportunity to learn from, explore and experience more psychedelic substances both organic or synthetic during this one human life on earth. Doing so would justify a state of complacency.


The country I am in doesn't allow the same liberty and access to LSD and other psychedelic substances like in the West, so I don't have any opinion to add about synthetic entheogens other than I must explore those other realities if I could find a way to get LSD, I am completely obsessed with LSD and its history and culture/community which shaped a new age in humanity.

Good thing this region of the world has an abundance of Acacia Confusa. I am left with an alternative which is to hunt and find ACRB to process DMT. I'll spearhead that plus a hunt for my first wild Psilocybe Cubensis when the wet season comes pouring in a couple weeks.

I don't understand how we can compare psychedelics and say one is "real" and an other isn't.

Each has their own pros and cons, and anyone who thinks one is better than another is clearly someone who thinks they're super heady and posses some profoundly deep knowledge about how everyone reacts to psychedelics.

I've had equally profound trips from lsd as I have shrooms. I've done DMT a few times and it never did any spiritual awakening for me, I've done 6 grams of cyanezcene and all they Did was make me have a blast, and I've done a single tab of acid and had one of the most healing trips of my life.

You can't simply compare drugs like that and think one will effect everyone the same.
