We have been ranked the most respected country in the (again) this year. That means that next to anybody from any other country in the world, they are the embarassment, not you.


I just recently learned that Canadians forced Inuit populations to relocate, and pretty much freeze to death in the northern artic territories - in the 1950s!!

Crazy shit considering the whole world was still reeling from the Nazi movement. It kinda backfired I guess because Inuits are badasses who were like, sure, ill survive up here. Ill give Canada credit for offering a huge fucking apology.

We also have one of the most multicultural cities in the world. Maybe the most! Toronto has over 200 ethnic groups, speaking about 140 different languages. Half of the population of Toronto was born outside the country.

No offense but if they're still speaking 140 different languages, then I wouldn't really call it a melting pot. Even your French and English speaking people have segregated themselves pretty much from one another.

I've met countless people from Quebec...and I've known several native English speakers who moved to Quebec.

What would you call it, then? Toronto is a city of immigrants - half of the city wasn't even born in the country! Those immigrants do not stay in Toronto, though, and commonly move out to find other greener pastures. Even if they do stay, their children will move out. Even my city - which is a little fearful of immigrants - has a nice percentage of them, around 20%. The Melting Pot does work.
