American vs Canadian cigarettes

Which do you prefer?
I always smoke canadian cigarettes. I find them to be much more satisfying than american ones.
The cherry on american cigarettes always fall off the smoke, they are not compact enough and the smoke tastes slightly like cigars. I enjoy smoking them once in a while, but much less than canadian smokes.
Canadian cigarettes taste great. They're much better quality, but they're more expensive, too. I pay $7,50 - $8 CAN for a 25-pack.
I usually smoke Rothmans king size.

All smokes sold in Canada have to have one of those pictures of dying people on them.

I believe the term is "value brand." There are Quest, Jacks, etc.
Damn, I wish I lived in Virginia (tobacco country) there smokes are like $2.25 (US).
Now, they are $7.00 by me

$8 for a pack of cigs!?!?!
Why are they only $2.80 here in missouri? How can you justify $8 for a pack of smokes. Those things better be 180's and pack a hell of a punch for that to be worth it.
That reminds me of the newest anti marijuana commercial. The one where he splits open 4 cigs to roll one big cigarette, to demonstrate that is the harm of one joint. I was gonna bitch about that ad at first, but then I got to thinking, I wouldn't mind smoking that fat ass cig.

I prefer American Spirits, but they are $5 a pack, too rich for my blood. Good thing I live in Virginia, where a pack of Marlboros is $2.80. Sometimes they have buy 2 get 1 free deals. Or buy 3 get 2 free. I could never imagine paying $10 for a pack of smokes..no matter how good they are. That would help me quit real fast.

I pay $8 CAN which is a little over $5 US.
It's expensive, but it doesn't seem to be keeping me from buying them.
