there are much more important things that make me happy, than the country i live in, or my posessions. Altho these slaves have an undeniable hard and probably heartbreaking life, it's not a position i've ever been in. I can't say that they can't be happy, because i'm not there, i'm not them. Happiness comes from within, not from physical posession or location. I'm sure that even slaves, living an 'awful life' which seems awful to us because we can't imagine it, have things they love and are happy for. These people will walk away with lessons learned that none of us could imagine learning, and i would never doubt their ability to think positively.
