EMC
    #18412389 -

Goodmorning guys.
Hopefully this is my last day having to wake up at this hour.
I've been working on a family friends lawn for the past 3 days, but I think I've managed my work load so I can get it all done today.

Broke up with my girlfriend of 1 year last night.
It was hard, because I'm still in love with her, and she's very attractive;
But I was miserable because of the relationship, so I had to do it
These next few days will probably be the hardest.

Contemplating going on a 2 day meditation retreat tomorrow,
just have to see if I can get covered for work.

Sorry to hear about having to break up with the lady. Sounds like it was for the best though. Even when they are beautiful and you love them they can still ruin your peace of mind. Peace of mind is the most valuable thing IMO.

I woke up a bit ago. Had a real bad sore throat all night, and even worse this morning. Hope I'm not getting sick. I've got an important job interview at a garden center tonight at 5pm. Might have to take a cold medicine or something if I'm not feeling better by then.

Headed off to work in about 40 minutes. Out of money, soap, no clean clothes, towels, my shoes smell fucking rancid as all hell. cooked up some apple/cinammon oatmeal for breakfast. at least im not hungover  been working 55+ hour weeks between 2 jobs recently. its by choice not necessarily that 1 job couldn't get my by, i'm saving up for things, a car, etc...

I broke up with my girlfriend of 6+ years pretty recently, it has been an ongoing breakup the last 5 months or so though. I loved her but we just changed as people so much that we are no longer compatible. the sex was great though. you know her, KCL....

the begining is always the worst, but you'll get over it in time. rebounding won't work, just follow your life and your soul and eventually you'll meet a better one but don't expect it to happen immediately.

cheers to being single. *raise glass of milk*

I too had to break things off with my lady of several years a couple months ago. We had already spit up and were doing a semi long distance thing for a couple years. I moved much further away though, so had to end it. I knew for a long time it wasn't working, but the companionship and sex were still great. It's hard breaking things off. Especially cuz women seem to find someone new so easily. A lot more work for us guys I think.

Damn, and I thought I had it rough!
We were in a similar situation.
In the beginning it was great. Then this mess of shit happened, and we were both different people because of it.

I agree, peace of mind is the most valuable thing.
It was a hard truth to swallow, but I have to put myself before any relationship.
Me and my ex had just reached a point where I don't think we were going to be able to fix our situation; and it seemed like if we kept going down the path we would hate each other by the end of it.
Luckily we ended on good terms. It'd be a lot harder if we hated each other because of it.

I guess at this point I just have to keep my head up, and look to the future.

It's sad that this is even a factor, but it's totally true
I consider myself a pretty good looking guy, but I know it's gonna be longer for me before I find someone new.
I don't think it's so much a thing of attractiveness though; so many guys just seem to desperately throw themselves at girls these days.

I need to get better at doing that. I always am so busy "keeping my cool" and being aloof that I don't connect with all that many ladies.

Sounds like an epic evening! My last trip was at the beach, but it was kinda in the city and there were too many other people around and stuff. It was still great, but could hae been better in that way

I think solo trips are the best. I mean it is great to have someone to share experiences with too, but all too often it's just distracting from the inner journey.

I have never had a solo trip. I've had times where I was alone for part of my trip but never really alone as there was always someone else in the next room or whatever. But yeah I agree it is distracting. Every time I start to get deep into my trips I always have this urge to open my eyes and share what I just saw with the person I'm tripping with so it does kinda get in the way.

sometimes if im tripping with a close friend, ill try and go off into my own zone for a bit....always right when im getting deep in my friend says something that sucks me back out  bastards

sharing a trip with people is fucking awesome, but solo trips are just as awesome just in different ways

Very true.

Solo trips are the best.
If you haven't solo tripped just let go, there's nothing to fear.
