cybrbeat--- what the fuck did you just say? did you think?
Of course I've experienced the "full effect"... just not the effect you got. drugs experience is subjective, get it? I'll bet you'd get alot more baked off of some shwag than I would too....
regardless, if you happened to have actually read the rest of what I wrote, you'll see that I take salvia whilst tripping on other drugs. like acid and mushrooms and amt and x and etc. so yeah, I'm fairly sure that even though it's stupid to try to one up someone based on how "fucked up" you get, I've "been" "where" "you've" "been".

don't ask about the excessive quotations, I really don't know....

swami- good question. here's another: why doesn't mind typically manifest itself when people take psychdelics? where's god in the entheogens? and where the FUCK are the open minded people on ecstasy??

I don't think they exist.

In my experience and that of all who have broken through it can never be described as mildly dissociative. I know that the effects before a breakthrough feel like a sort of stonedness or a bit trippy. But beyond that border it's a world of infinite dimensions all wrapped up inside an infinitely small point.

Oh an btw, there is no need to swear. Maybe you should visit Off-topic discussion and vent some anger..

"there is no need to swear"

ok, you have a southpart avatar. get real.

as for "breaking through".... man, I can't tell you how long I was stuck on that trip... but REALLY, REALLY, I'm telling you, YOU'RE NOT THE ONLY PERSON WHO TRIPS. ok? there are actually a wide range of mild and extreme experience to be had off of as many different substances. there isn't some set "level 5" like people enjoy pretending. it just keeps going and going deeper and deeper.

imo, if you like to stick flags and draw lines and declare this and that, then you're just looking in the wrong place, probably stagnanting.

Swearing to someone personally is a lot different than in a cartoon. South Park doesn't insult me, you do. But that doesn't matter.

Ok you maybe right, I don't know what you exactly experienced. I do know that for me and many others Salvia has provided us with some of the most intense trips ever.
Would you care to give a trip report?

What's the the anger? I find it rather unnecessary. This isn't my fight, but it's not a fight that needs to have happened. We need a little more respect here, respect for Salvia (and all medicines whether or not they're our favourites) and respect for each other.

No entheogens are worthless shit. They may not be the right path for you or for me but they have thier value and don't deserve to be disrespected. Perhaps Salvia doesn't offer you what she offers others because you aren't patient or considerate enough to wait for her to teach you. The mazatec shamans say Salvia is a shy spirit, and she demands respect.

well, I think that defending a drug just because you say it fits into the "entheogen" category (which is itself contentious at best) is a very weak argument. some people think that dxm is a good thing. some think belladonna/dantura is good. some people think travel sickness medicine is enlightening. get my point? just cause other people used a drug doesn't mean you should too. no disrespect for the indians, but there are many many drugs that I think where used in the past because of availability and lack of knowledge. stagnancy = bad

you're right though, I offended your sensibilities, which I didn't mean to do. if only the world wasn't so offensive.

as for a trip report... I never write those, cause they're essentially flawed. to write a "report" implies that the event is over, which, if anything, is the one thing I'd want to report: "it" is happening. not happened.

Well could you say if you had OEV, CEV? How much Salvia you used. Extract power? Setting maybe. How often you tried. etc?

Sometime around 1996 I forget whenever DM Turners book just came out
I ordered some from Hawaii like an ounce or half ounce I forget of regular herb. I was EXTREMELY psyched about trying it since just reading the great book. I smoked some noticed nothing.......

I Chewed alot but gradually not all at once at one time my friend said "this isn't doing anything" I laughed and suddenly got a rush from it that lasted less then a minute almost as though someone else thought that was funny. I remember before waking up the next day thinking "theres a world I have to get up" which was kinda weird.

A few days later I chewed the entire remainder everything got really bright and I felt kinda drunk saw more colors on my light and sound machine thing from the LED's fell asleep.

Maybe four years later I tried the expensive tincture. I kept burning my mouth with dropers of it I didn't feel that different I fell asleep though after thinking my leg was above my head ??????
felt some sickness upon waking kinda felt like HBWS.

A few more experiences basically felt dissociated maybe once or twice rapid eye movement while awake but nothing too intense or anything. Overall the experiences were mild. Did take some while on DPT, DXM, and with Nitrous oxide. Nothing that amazing happened. I guess both times I felt for the money I paid I still didn't experience what I expected I may try smoking some 5X or 10X whatever. I think that would do it. What are your recommended vendors.

You should try a 10X extract.
Be sure to read this user guide: http://www.sagewisdom.org/smokeadvice.html
Can I post links to vendors on this site?

"WTF? that's completely nonsensical "

LOL

That was for Malachi's sake since he is a staunch believer in the imminent destruction of whitey culture.

The first time I smoked it was in the form of a 10X extract on some dried salvia leaf. I had done quite a bit of research on its effects, but was still unprepared for the intensity of the experience.

Before I had even completely inhaled the first lungful from the pipe I felt a rapidly oncoming rush of strangeness. No substance had ever come close to the speed of the onset here. The crackling of the leaf burning suddenly took on an odd intensity and I distinctly felt as if someone were watching me do this. The presence was not overwhelming, but noticeable and definately feminine in character.

I had planned to do this as prescribed in a darkened and silent room, but the intensity of the experience excited me and I couldn't stay still- I had to move. I had smoked it sitting in my bed with the covers over my feet so I could lie down immediately afterwards.

As the experience rapidly peaked, I came to the absolutely mind-blowing awareness that not only was I *sitting* in the bed, but somehow someway I had *become* the bed!! I was me and the bed at the same time! A feeling of several powerful emotions merged in me, a feeling of horror, amazement, and amusement. I laughed out loud and said, "You've got to be kidding me!! I AM that??!!"

I pulled back the covers and when I did that it was like peeling back a layer of my own skin, not in a painful sense though. Maybe like how a paraplegic would feel about moving his dead leg with his arms.

Anway, other things happened, but nothing as remarkable.
It's a bizarre substance, and probably better suited in terms of inner development in it's natural form or with a tiny bit of extract.

I can remember lying in the bed on Salvia and pulling the covers over me. It felt like entering another dimension.

I'm sure many vendors screw their customers. 17X that's actually 1X and such stuff.
Mindtrap, I hope you have a very accurate scale for that stuff.
Why would you use it pure? Read Daniel Sieberts pure trip if you haven't already
http://www.sagewisdom.org/salvexpe.html
Many pro-Salvia discourage the use of pure Salvinorin because they are scared it will give Salvia a bad name. Have a sitter present.

btw,
do you guys also get the needle and pins sensation over your skin? I like that feeling

That trip report wasn't that bad...i'd like to read one about someone who had experimented with salvia before and obtained a proper mind set prior to taking the crystal...It wouldbe very hard to get any lesson when your not sure what your smoking...although it was intriguing, to read of his ability to 'travel' to different time points and areas...i think his mind was totally surprised by the experience and probably trying to figure out why, rather than seeing the experience...

When i had teh pins and needles sensation, it was rather uncomftorable...until i surrendered to it...then it wasn't really good or bad...
But it was very intense.

There's an online book by D.M. Turner about Salvia which has some Salvinorin crystal trip reports. Also a cool Salvinorin DMT combo.

Here are the trip reports (at the bottom of the page):

Thanks for the links.

I've experienced something similar to this on 15x. Very frightening but worth it for the experience.

It was a feeling that was impossbile to describe. At the time I felt as though I had been ripped out of the flow of time like being peeled off of a frame in a film. I was absolutely petrified that I would not return to reality and fought it the entire time. Because of this I never allowed myself to break through and wish now that I had.

Anyways.. I'll give you guys a trip report when I try the crystal. It doesn't really sound much different than my expereince on 15x.

I've never actually broken through like so many people claim. Perhaps I will this time.

Sorry to go off topic a bit, but does anyone know if Salvia has any tolerance build up? I know most people dont 'breakthrough' the first time, so I was wondering if its possible to just wait a few hours and try again..?

I've noticed a reverse tolerance. The first few times i smoked i felt nothing, and now i can detect even a toke a plain leaf. Im not sure how it works doing back to back sessions, but i believe it would work every time you smoked it with no reduced effects....but thats just speculation...
