So my problems are that It was very hard to change my schedule. The guy kept being an asshole and wouldnt email me back. Also Im kind of on probation at my work cause the performance isnt the best. So I dont think that it would be a good idea to ask my boss to change my schedule back to full time now. literally a week after I change it.

The reason I need to work full time is that I wouldnt be able to afford an apartment without it. Also if I move out I wont be able to pay for college so I will have to take some time off to save up money. But I know my parents would be disappointed if I did that.

So what would you guys recommend I do. I want to be ready to move the first of the month. What steps do I need to do to get an apartment. Also a FYI I have 5500 saved up in the bank.

If you want to change your schedule back to full-time, don't hesitate to ask your boss.  Even explain your situation to him (maybe without saying you just get high in your parents' house, that may not sound good to him).  Say that you are tired of living at home and want to make enough money to move out and save up money for college.  Most employers/bosses (I think) would look at this as a positive thing and something that makes you a more valuable asset at the company/job, because it shows that you have goals and you are willing to put in the extra effort to succeed in your goals.  Employers/bosses are always on the lookout for workers willing to put in the extra effort.

As for steps to getting an apartment, start looking around at apartments in your price range.  Make sure the apartments are up to your standards and have all the basic amenities (heating, air conditioning, etc.).  Once you have found an apartment (or multiple apartments) that fit your needs, call the numbers listed to ask any unanswered questions about the apartment(s).

Filter the apartments down until you have decided on the one you want, and then apply for an apartment.  Hopefully, if they check your credit, your credit is good enough.  Then you just get the keys to the apartment and start packing up your stuff at home and moving it to the apartment.

5500 saved up in the bank is a great start, and should more than cover any initial charges at most mid-level apartments.

5500 will easily get you a decent place & food for a few months
you just need to keep working
take a bus instead of a car if you need to save up more money
or bike or walk even
good way to stay healthy & enjoy the day

OP, I'm noticing a common theme among your threads. You seem to believe that by gaining something, it will end your depression and stop your suicidal thoughts. In one thread it was a girl you really wanted, in another you wanted to live with someone else and get a new job, and now you want to move into an apartment. In all of them it seemed like you were also using drugs to run away from/cover up your problems.

The thing is, the cure for your depression has to come from inside yourself. Getting a new girlfriend, or moving, or doing more drugs, is just going to be a band aid that doesn't address your real problems. I would try introspection until you are sure about what it is you really want in life. Also, you might want to consider therapy. I can't really give you many more suggestions because I don't know you that well, but what I can tell you is that these band aids you're constantly seeking won't do shit in the long run and you are going to find yourself with the same feelings/suicidal thoughts as you had before.

To be fair, sometimes depression (and even severe depression) can result from a poor living situation.  Maybe not all of the facts have been laid out for us to see.  OP mentioned: "And I was thinking about it and I thought that all I do is lay around in my parents house and get high and I dont even go hang out with my friends anymore."

Staying in the same place and doing the same thing(s) every day can make a person go crazy, and can make them lose hope for a happier life.  Sometimes going to new places and doing new things and hanging out with new people can really bring up one's mood and give them a reason to live.  Sometimes all it takes is a change of environment (if that IS the main issue) to bring life back to somebody.  If the environment isn't really the source of the problem, then of course moving somewhere new will not get rid of the depression.

I understand this, but I'm also basing my opinion on the fact that the OP seems to be bouncing around from one target to another, without really being aware of what it is he really wants. Maybe it really is his living situation and he's finally hit the nail on the head and will get better once he leaves his current home. But, I think he needs to try digging deeper to determine what's really causing his problems before just looking for the next convenient distraction.

Thank you for your advice. The problem is I dont know what to do with my life and I dont know how to figure this out. So my only option is to try to do something so I wont kill myelf. It may be a band aid but I have nothing else.

I am not sure do folks do shared houses in the states?

That would be my suggestion, grab a few close mates, rent a pimp ass place, study as much as you can and work as little as possible to pay the bills.

So I was wondering does anyone live in a one bedroom or studio apartment and could you tell me how it is. For example could I smoke marijuana in a one bedroom apartment and not have the neighbors disturbed? I will be living in a city by the way.

Also do you think my boss really wont care if I ask him to change it again right after I changed it. Cause he seemed quite cranks and rude.

Yep, you're fine to smoke in a one bedroom.  Just don't throw any parties or anything.

If you're scared to ask your boss, just go ahead and move with the money you have saved and continue to work part time while you search for a better job .

Agreed.  Something is definitely going on to make the OP so desperate, and only the OP knows what that is, even if he doesn't know consciously (yet).

For a long time I was depressed, thinking that all these things were going wrong with myself and I was sure that the answer was to change ... gender, living situation, friendships, etc.  After many years, I realize the answer is so simple: my problems are almost ALL caused by my 11 year opiate addiction, and the solution is to quit opiates entirely (something I've done already, though I'm now quitting the maintenance medicine Suboxone to seal the deal because I am being bogged down by the side effects of the Suboxone).

For so many years I blamed my depression on just about everything, and thought that I needed to change my entire life around to be happy.  The truth turned out to be that I only needed to do one thing to become a happy person again: quit all opiates.  They mess with the receptors in your brain and can cause all sorts of problems in a person's life.  Until I realized this wholly, I was sure all my problems could be attributed to just about everything that has ever gone wrong in my life -- ie: friends that didn't hold up their ends up in friendships, living as a gender that was "wrong", graduating from high school a year early, living in the wrong city ... I blamed EVERYTHING for my deep unhappiness and feeling that I would never again feel "sane" and "happy".

And, once again, the answer was so simple all along ... I'm addicted to opiates!  And have been for 11 whole years straight!  The simple fact was that, as long as I continued taking opiates, I was fucking with my brain chemistry and causing myself to be depressed, and ruining my life.  So the simple answer, the magic bullet that would bring happiness and joy and sanity back to my everyday life, was not in changing my gender.  It was not in moving to a different city.  It was not in making new friendships.  It was not in taking pills or going to therapy.

It was to quit opiates completely.  As long as I kept taking them, with my newfound knowledge, it was nobody's fault but my own if I was unhappy and miserable.  So, simply put, THE ANSWER, the thing that could put my whole life back into a happy order, was as simple as quitting opiates completely.

With Suboxone being the last opiate I'm addicted to (and 8 months having gone by since the last time I tried to get high on opiates), I can finally say that the endless, miserable depression is ending and, within the next few months, when I finally quit the Suboxone, I will be living life as I once did ... with constant enthusiasm, a general euphoria and a feeling that everything is alright just the way it is, no severe life changes needed.

Once a person finds out (and admits at least to themself) what is the culprit behind their depression and unhappiness, the next step is to do something about it directly and not pretend that the issue lies elsewhere.  Fix the problem right where it is, and stay determined to see it through, and good things will happen before long.  Great things, even.

This post and what it describes is what keeps me sober and happy, and it shows an example that sometimes the most obvious thing is that which holds us back, and we look past it for other scapegoats to blame our unhappiness on.  Sometimes the answer is obvious, sometimes it isn't, but taking a deep look inside oneself (and sometimes listening to opinions by other people) can lead one to the answer(s) so desperately wanted and, ultimately, to happiness and contentment.

You already know that nobody can tell you that.

Decide what you want to do and follow it through. If you like what you are studying then do whatever you need to do to keep doing it, if not go be free for a while.

Keep your job, work more, live with your parents while you can and save up more money, move out once you have a decent savings and a solid plan.
You are in control of your own life, don't just puss out. Work hard, play hard, get a fucking hobby. Make goals, accomplish them, then make more.
