ture, but there really appears to be something naturally
appealing to babies about laughing. i.e. it seems that they
obviously prefer it to crying. Although I don't know how one
would test this.

pooches? do you mean dogs? they are happy because they dont have to focus on survival, their lives are easy.

well, but not all animals that "don't have to
focus on survival" appear to be happy like dogs.
In fact even with dogs, some breeds appear to be
paraniod.

i've thouht about this before
and it occurred to me that
sometimes when i'm stoned
i laugh for no particular reason.

i don't know what's so funny but i
laugh anyway. This happens a lot
with psychedelics as well.

maybe it really is just the idea of
novelty. Often, even when sober, when
adults see something new and unusal their
tendency is to chuckle a bit.

Everything is new to a baby. And on
psychedelics, many things are new again.
