there's a few books on the subject, I bought one a few years back,
you can get a license from the ATF to build a gun, it's costly so
it's only worthwhile if you do a few dozen at a time and to my
knowledge if the gun isnt for sale then you can make a single

example of home built firearms, there's a village near the khyber
pass where you can get anything made pretty cheap, it may take a
couple of months because they build entirely by hand with no power
tools, but they can literally make you any steel frame weapon such
as a copy of an AK or a 1911 and the quality of the workmanship is
incredibly high given the conditions they work under

Yeah, I wasn't referring to mod kits. I was referring to zip guns, sawed offs, suppressors, full auto-conversion and so forth. Stuff like that.

Or 5-10 or 15-20.

Still, 2 years is a long time to be in a cage.

I'm just saying it's not worth the risk when there are so many legal options available as far as guns go.

But hey, everyone has a different idea as to what "worth the risk" is to them.

I said, it's my understanding that unless you are law enforcement, these licenses have become very difficult to come by.

Now, if you know otherwise, that's awesome to hear. i'm telling you what I've read on the various gun boards.

I would love to have a full-auto 10/22.
