Just make sure you can do precision welding and cutting, or when that bullet is hammered you are going to have shrapnel in your face.

i've built potato cannons, flame throwers, and dart guns.


i've designed various needle guns, but never had the time or money to follow through.



imagine being able to shoot a needle into somebody's neck from under your sleeve.

Would be legit as hell to actually cast / machine everything yourself...

I wonder how impossible this is


On a less violent note, have built a compressed air cannon thing out of mostly scavenged stuff, barrel fits cans perfectly. Nothing more amusing than hurling cans full of water 100+ yards, could even launch 4-5 of them at once. May have to find that thing again haa

Ive built a few zip guns before.  incredibly simple single shot 22s. and potato cannons of course.  No welding required.

depends on how you want to define build. I've built several from parts I have
orders, the parts require fitting and tuning, on of my neignbors has an AR15
that I did and he says it's one of the best he's ever fired. the accuracy is
unmatched by any semi auto that he's owned. he's pushing 80 so he's owned a few

Build your own gun dude!  start with a 22.  its like impossible to hurt yourself.  once you get some stuff figured out, you could bigger, tho i never did/will.  If you're scared, use 22 shorts or CBs.  Even less danger.

After googling I did find that there is a bit of precision TIG welding that goes on in the firearms industry.  But as a welder myself, I would highly recommend that any at home individual not weld without instruction/supervision.  Inexperienced TIG welding usually results in too much heat -> warping.  Or, just general poor quality welds.  Scab welds are definitely not meant for guns.

I made an uzi style BB gun one time. You fill the rectangular top part up with BBs, there's an air compressor fitting on the bottom, and it blows the BBs out. I'd be a little afraid of making a gun that uses flash powder since it has a chance of exploding if something was done incorrectly.

i guess building an ak from pot metal would be one thing..

but pris i think your along the same line as i am... assembling one from gathered parts. and fitting as necessary..

We've got freedom of speech, but there's always some technicality. Like if you sell information + parts that = a kit, and kits are illegal, but sold individually it's legal.

What did the website get in trouble for?
