Its cause its one of the most reliable assault rifle's ever created seriously throw that thing in a pool take it out throw it in some sand run it over a few times and pick it back up it'll empty its clip without jamming, incredibly easy to mass produce, very cost effective. and the perfectly sized round for taking out lightly armored troops and reaching out and touching some one at half mile distances .

That's not even close to what im refering to. Snorkelsailor said the opposition was defeating us with antique weapons, ok, they use the ak, so how is it antique when the weapon is still in use? They also shoot a 338 or 30-06.  Is the 30-06(1906), or the 50 cal antique? The caliber may be "antique" but the model is not.
  when you say the AK-47 is not accurate then maybe you should do some reading, or shooting.  It's not consistent but that doesnt mean it won't hit within a 15 inch group at a hundred yards everytime.  Not to mention how fast it is to reload the reliablity and while in warfare where most people just shoot to make noise the AK is definetly recognized as an elite weapon.  Why do you guys keep bringing up the cost to make the AK-47? How much do you think it cost's to produce an m-16?

Hell yeah. But I mean if it comes down to it and shit really gets as bad as
some think will inevitably happen. Then I will have no problem giving my life up
in trying to make a difference. I do not like the way this place is headed. But

second thought I have no clue what that spark whould be with how uncaring people are about shit that doesnt affect them directly its gonna have to be something that has a instantly universally detrimental impact on everyones quality of life, the government knows this and all they gotta do to avoid it is make the changes happen slow enough, which there doing a astounding job of already

I dont know how anyone would go about it War has fundamentally evolved no longer do armies square off against eachother, Guerilla tactics have taken over in the face of stronger opponents.

If it where to happen it I think it would be a war deception and espionage there would be no defined front line the sides would be fighting for peoples consciousness and it would be something akin to the cold war I dont think there wouldnt be actual battle there just wouldnt be that much of it, I think it would be fought with info and propaganda for the most part a battle for peoples minds and loyalties.
