Doin thangs with old friends' ex's

I got my damn self into a jam.  Few days ago I went and chilled with this girl, she likes me and she wanted to grab bud.  I call my people but it's like 2 AM and no one wants to come out so she calls her ex, they've been broken up for 2 years but I'm sure they fucked since then ya know?

So anyway, we all chill, kinda awkward and just get stoney baloney(been on a long smoke break so I get extra high now :lolsy):.  Next day, her ex calls me to chill and come to his party that night.  I get there, he tells me she isn't invited and how awkward it was the night before.  Whatever and all but she just texted me saying "damn preparationh we shoulda drank the other night, "J" told me you came to his party to make me mad..."

I teller the truth, I was hoping to see her there and what not.

Now, tonight the guy's sister invited me and my 2 best friends to come to their party again and once again... the girl isn't invited.  I feel like a dick, maybe I am, because I just told her I was going out with the family tonight.  I made a booboo.

Sounds like the ex might have some unresolved issues. Just keep an honest conversation open with the gal if you are into her. Kind of sounds like you met two different groups and they exclude each other. Sounds laced with drama and stupid games.

I think the whole situation depends on whatever broke them up to begin with. Obviously their relationship didn't end well, but who fucked it up? If she did, I could understand the ex's desires of not wanting to see her. If she didn't do anything wrong, I'd tell him to stop being a pussy. :shrug:
