Definately watch the Cell if you're into horror flicks. I watched it on LSD and it was mind blowing - especially all of the scene changes travelling in people's minds. It's kind of disturbing though, lots of torture and struggling. Can get under your skin.

If I was doing a normal 1-2 tab trip, I might try watching horror movies (only watched one horror movie when I was coming down), but if I was doing huge psychedelic doses, I'll be outdoors with music for sure! :wink:

I've got some really freaky movies for you and I would not recommend them on shrooms. Too freaky. Except for second one and the last one.

The Entity. It is about an incubus (incubus means a demon who rapes women while they sleep or in this case, awake and they are brutal when they rape.) It is based on a true story. Freaky sober. I wouldn't wanna watch it tripping.

Ghostbusters. Now this is my favourite movie of all time. Great effects for 1984. Hell of a funny movie, but creepy and scary at points. Like when the demon dog appears after Dana Barret's kitchen door swings open and the chair grabs her and shows a close up of the dog. Red eyes, razor sharp teeth. Freaked me out sober. I wouldn't want to watch it tripping if my life depended on it. But other people would probably laugh at me when they see it, but it seriously freaks me out.

The Exorsist. I don't think I need to comment on how scary this movie is.

Ted Bundy Story. This is just creepy beyond anything. Twisted movie for sure.

Head. This is a movie made in 1969 by the popular 60's band The Monkees. It was written by them and JACK NICHOLSON while on acid talking into a tape recorder for days, and they turned it into a movie. Kinda fucked up at parts. I have watched this while tripping. Really fucked up but good to watch tripping.

Spun - A movie about meth with some crazy film tricks to catch you when you are stoned. Also Fight Club. Everyone should see this movie and then read the book.

The lead animator for that movie has done tons of films and they are all superb.  Make sure to get "Nausicaa", and make it the Disney version, since the others have cut out footage.

oh man, i've never watched a horror movie while tripping, but want to at some point. i love horror movies, they're pretty much the only movies i watch regularly.

the best horror movie to watch while tripping would probably be A Nightmare On Elm Street 3: The Dream Warriors. it's the one that's in 3d. i think that would be crazy with the 3d glasses on while tripping. there were parts of that movie that reminded me about tripping, just seeing some of the weird angles and stuff. i can imagine how cool it would look with the kid on top of the tower at night, and freddy above him with the marionet strings controlling the kid while overlaying the dark sky.

i can see In The Mouth of Madness being a good tripping movie, as mentioned before. Hellraiser 1 and 2 definitely.

there are some types of horror movies i would stay away from while tripping, like the texas chainsaw massacres, the re-animator, bad taste, anything really bloody wouldnt be good i think. most slasher movies wouldnt be good, but the ones with characters everyone knows, like jason, michael myers, would be probably be good.

i could imagine not understanding some of them while tripping. wondering why someone is killing all of these innocent(or atleast pretty innocent) people. it's easy now, they're just evil pretty much. but that's not an easy concept to get across while tripping, if you know what i mean.

i probably couldnt do it while peaking, i would most likely be more interested in the patterns on the floor than the tv, but while coming up or coming down i think it would be fun. last time i tripped i watched scream 3 on the comedown/when i was pretty much at baseline. i thought it was kind of hard to follow, especially because i hadnt seen it before.
