Wrong. The constellations are not of the same size thus the 360° are divided into 12 sectors starting with Aries 0° marked by the spring equinox. In Western Astrology the actual constellation are not used as reference for the division of the zodiac, it is actually based on the seasons. In Vedic Astrology the 0° Aries is marked by the actual stars of the constellation of Aries.

It is said that Vedic Astrology has a spiritual focus while Western Astrology has a more personality focus. Also in Vedic Astrology the Lunar Zodiac is used for making interpretations so even though they are related they are not the same thing.

So, let me get this... there are several different flavors of astrology, each with its own system and its own predictions and each contradicts the others and yet they are all are correct and give valid predictions.

Aries at 0 degrees
Taurus at 30 degrees
Gemini at 60 degrees
Cancer at 90 degrees

Here, let me clear this up for you. The difference bewteen 'personality' astrology and 'spiritual' astrology is that one is retarded and one is moronic.

While I'm at it, let me get to THAT giant pile of bullshit.

If the system is based on the seasons and it doesn't matter that the actual zodiac has shifted by 30 degrees, then why make reference to the zodiac at all?

Why attribute to a Capricorn (goat) stubbornness if the constellation of Capricorn is irrelevant and only the season counts? Especially given that Capricorn is now 30 degrees wrong due to 2,000 years of orbital precession?

It makes absolutely no sense, not even to the addled TB mind.

Anyone who clings to this crap despite the avalanche of objective, measurable evidence debunking it (30 degrees of error that is conveniently ignored) is believing because they're more interested is supporting their fantasy at any cost than in trying to find the truth of things, whatever it may be.

This closed mindedness and refusal to think is a big part of the reason we live in a world full of idiotic marijuana prohibition laws and suicide bombers convinced that god wants them to kill civilians, including children, who just want to be left alone.

If ever there was a place where the map (a label) was mistaken for the territory (reality) then that is it.

Catch a politician in stone cold lie or present unarguable facts and it makes no difference to a supporter. That is why I checked out of there long ago. There is virtually no discussion, just a shout down match.

Just before that chart there's this:

"What follows is a list of the twelve signs of the zodiac (with the ecliptic longitudes of their first points), where 0° Aries is understood as the vernal equinox, with their Latin, Greek, Sanskrit, and Babylonian names (but note that the Sanskrit and the Babylonian name equivalents denote the constellations only, not the tropical zodiac signs). Also, the "English translation" is not usually used by English speakers. The Latin names are standard English usage."

The constellations are not the same size but the sign division is 30° each. What I tried to explain before is that in Western Astrology 0° Aries does not correspond to the actual beginning of the constellation of Aries but starts from the spring equinox.

In my experience they don't contradict. As I mentioned the focus changes a bit. In Vedic Astrology the 360° are also subdivided into 27 sections or lunar mansions of 13° 20' each that are used in the chart interpretation. Check out your different Astrology systems and compare.
