This has made no sense at all.

also, I think the idea that planets/heavenly bodies "cause" things to happen here is kind of silly... I don't think most serious astrologers believe that. Astrology just acknowledges that macrocosmic and microcosmic events occur according to a pattern in relation to one another, and seeks to use that pattern to make predictions

I usually do a snot rocket right on the sidewalk and use its patterns to make predictions about my poker bets, but just like astrology I find that the predictions are never true, except by the odd coincidence.

I heard if they get your medical history then the reading becomes highly reliable.

But this is the thing, it's already in the natal chart, I'm not going to make up your chart. The interpretation should reflect the chart.

The planets & houses already represent certain things, I can't make that up. I also can't make up what aspects mean or how the planets relate with each other in the chart.

What I'm going to show you has nothing to do with what you would find in your medical record. If you honestly want to find out if Astrology is bullshit then just give me your info. See for yourself and then tell me if it isn't very accurate. If you are honest and you find it accurate then just admit it is.

I was ready to put myself out there behind what I said  while you were just avoiding me just to come back and pretend you are above me. All I asked you was to be first honest and then walk your talk, but that's too much for you it seems. You start talking about people like me, like if you new me... then you proceed to tell me how fabulously tolerant you are (to be politically correct) and then you tell me that well, this is too much for you.

If your argument it's not enough then let's proceed to attack the person.

The thing is, if Astrology is bullshit then I would like to know that. In fact most people here that say it's not valid have not really try to understand it by studying it, by experimenting and if they have done so it's very likely that their knowledge is not only superficial but done so with the intent to disprove it and not really learn what there's to learn. If you are really after truth then you should first of all be honest with yourself and second you have to be willing to put yourself out there, to test your structure so to speak.

What proof is there that astrology is legitimate?

That I know of here in the forum the only one who has gotten his hands dirty to some extent is Diploid.

After experimenting with Astrology with different individuals including myself, my experience tells me that it is valid. Now, I won't stand behind any who just claims things, but my experience, well, it's my experience.

After experimenting with Astrology with different individuals including myself, my experience tells me that it is valid.

There's a way for you to conclusively show to the world (and yourself) that your claimed results are real, withstand careful and fair scrutiny, and are not the result of self-deception which humans are prone to doing without even realizing it...

Demonstrate your claim under proper observing conditions and win the million dollar JREF Challenge. Read more here:

http://www.randi.org/site/index.php/1m-challenge.html

As I have in the past, I extend to you the offer of paying for your airplane ticket, food, and a nice place to stay in south Florida to attempt the formal challenge test if you can pass the pretest administered near where you live.

You have absolutely nothing to lose beyond the simple effort of formally applying. Nothing to lose. And you have a fully paid Florida vacation to win if you simply pass the pretest (even if you don't pass the formal test) and a million dollars to win if you pass the formal test.

If what you claim is true, you should be jumping on this opportunity.

I think you will just keep posting here about how sure you are astrology works but you will not even APPLY for the JREF Challenge, let alone follow through.

And that alone (edit to clarify: the fact that no one who makes these claims ever submits to a proper test) should end this debate for anyone interested in the Truth.

3) You can't have a certain plant in your possession or you'll get locked up with a rapist and a murderer.

4) We need a smaller, less-intrusive government.
