I know I am a god, sometimes I hide it though with my selfish nature.

I create my reality.

My reality created me.

I have the ability to effect reality.

Reality effects me.

If you've read "The Upanishaads" then you might have encountered "Thou art That Swetaketu" which is a line that has been interpretted as Atman (thou) is Brahman (that) and if you've read further, that all the hindu gods are manifestations of Brahman. It was interpretted as Atman and Brahman are one. So therefore all people are gods.

Well that's the question. Are the a duo or are they not? This concept has far reaching implications. If you believe in non-duality, then we're all gods. If you don't, then there are gods and then there's us.

It's brahman not Brahmin, (there are a billion brahmXXX words for use. Brahman is like the eternal universe, Brahmin is the priestly class of india, and Brahma is the creator god..

We were made in God's image as fragments of god.

If in the beginning, there was only one, wouldn't it be lonely?

What's the next step? -> Create another to interact with.

What resourses do you have when there is only one? ->The answer is obvious.  :wink:

I'm not sure I would want to say "We are all Gods" because that doesn't really mean anything. How is that different from saying "We are all humans"? The only difference would be that we have more mana, or juice, or something right? What does that do besides pumping up the ego, the sense of dividedness, the duality that causes our suffering?

How about simply:

We are all God

Just drop that "s" and itsa all rright mon

Non-duality is dangerous territory if we're not far along the path. It can backfire and lead to delusions of grandeur and other things that hurt the spiritual life. Most of us are probably better off with the path of bhakti (love and devotion)and only after reaching some pretty deep levels of samadhi and understanding are we ready for the ultimate understanding that is non-duality.
