Is morality a thing of nature or of nurture?

Nuture.  Animals are amoral and most, if not all, of their behaviors are instinctual.  Only man frames anything as moral or immoral.

So the individual would have no control over his/her own morals? His/her morals would merely be up to his/her genetics and environment?

Therefore no free will.  Not saying that we don't have control over the pruning of the branches of our morals, but we have very little over the root system of this unwieldy thing.  By that I mean, we have little control over the development of our early lives, which has an over arching effect over every decision we make for the rest of our lives.

I believe in free will, and I don't believe that the individual has no control over his/her own morals.

It's one thing to simply enjoy a style of life that one enjoys, but it's another thing altogether to refer to another person's choice as "wrong" or to rationalize their behavior as being pathological or resulting from some sort of inadequacy or failing so as to create a sense of superiority or separation as yet another projection of a personal fear or control issue.
