Tell the other hunter that they don't grow at that park or that you talked to one of the landscapers a while back and he told you that they use dangerous pesiticides in the park.

To deter him, go hunting with him elsewhere.  You should still teach him what you know, and if you do happen to find a new patch, you can share it with him, but make him swear to secrecy.  If he tells his friends about a patch, it is all over.

Then you risk them stepping on the mushrooms.  Unless they are fruiting under a bush or somewhere that you can't easily step.

Or if he learns quick, he might do what I do and actually look under dense layers of fallen leaves.  Mushrooms love the extra moisture and protection from wind.

Hmm so Cure cat I have a question for you.

Someone here mentioned Spraying LC on woodchips.

I can envision ths LC in a 5 gallon bucket.

My question is, after tll the nutrition and air is used up, can the mycellium be reanimated later on?

Maybe up to a few months later if it where introduced to new nutrients and oxygen or co2?w/e?

Or what will happen?

I can see making a 5 gallon LC fir like 4 month then blending it up w/more karo and spraying it w/ a bug sprayer.

It will bother you when you breath in a whiff of that rancid LC after 4 months...

Usually indor contams die outdoors.

In 4 months anything can go bad, whether it was sterilized or not.

I could be wrong, but I am fairly sure that your idea is destined to fail. I also have little grow experience so I could be full of shit...

All I know is rotten LC smells horrid.

Ok so maybe the long term storage idea is a bad one.

As Twiztid said, the method you describe seems destined for contamination.  For outdoor grows, contamination is less of a concern, but after months of the saturated spores festering in a bucket of water with all sorts of other microorganism, there may be little left aside from contaminated material.

Take spore prints, and make a spore solution when you are ready to use it.
