PNW ID - Cyanescens in backyard

So I'm back with a more proper ID this time around. Sorry if the pictures aren't that great; my girlfriend's not around for me to steal her camera.

Habitat: Woody debris - growing from piles of decaying mulch or animal bedding of some kind, along with leaves and twigs etc.
Gills: The gills are tan - beige, lighter than the colour of the cap
Stem: White, fibrous, solid
Cap: Very caramel in colour, from a bit lighter to a bit darker, up to 5cm in diameter
Spore print color: Dark purplish brown, almost burgundy - like a bad welt on someone's skin
Bruising: Blue to deep navy blue to black, not very uniform bruising like you see on other kinds of psilocybe
Location: Pacific North West, Lower Mainland, British Columbia

Good ID request. Those are perfect examples of cyans. Bluing along the margin of the cap, white stem and it even took a spore print for you

Im pretty psyched about it.
Turns out the patch thats in my backyard is offspring from a much larger patch thats behind my neighbor's fence. They've been dumping mulch back there for years it seems; the ground is thick with it, in all sorts of decay. Where the cyans are growing the mycelium is widespread, it's much larger than just where the fruits are, so it looks to be that in the future it will get a lot bigger.
If only I had known these were cyans earlier, I would've had tons.

So long as we start getting rain, they'll keep coming. You've got another couple months until they stop. And I'd suggest becoming good friends with your neighbor, those private patches are the best.

Very nice Wavy Caps!
Soooo, you gonna ask your neighbors about "studying" some of their fungal inhabitants??

dont start spreading chips until it freezes, late winter/early spring.
use these and you can say you were just landscaping

is it possible to take clumps of mycelium and transfer them to a mulch bed in my own yard?

absolutly, since you wont be destroying the bed on your side of the yard. Your best bet would be raking out the area this late winter and mixing wood chips up in it and making sure it stays moist all summer
