Metric for an Enlightened Being?

How can an unenlightened being (meaning he/she has imperfect judgement and is a seething mass of projections and desires) empirically tell that another person is enlightened?
Please, no appeals to:
A. Emotion/feelings B. The sheer number of followers C. Success of their books

enlightened beings accept their fates.
-------------------- "Have you ever seen what happens when a grenade goes off in a school? Do you really know what you’re doing when you order shock and awe? Are you prepared to kneel beside a dying soldier and tell him why he went to Iraq, or why he went to any war?" "The things that are done in the name of the shareholder are, to me, as terrifying as the things that are done—dare I say it—in the name of God. Montesquieu said, "There have never been so many civil wars as in the Kingdom of God." And I begin to feel that’s true. The shareholder is the excuse for everything." - Author and former M6/M5 agent John le Carré on Democracy Now. Conquer's Club

Then I'm enlightened as I have claimed here several times.

Not sure how that qualifies. Can you answer without poetic imagery?

It's difficult to describe, but when you see it happen it is obvious.

Enlightenment to me is not some desirable dream state. Its gaining access to an accurate picture of reality. Illumination. I feel its a heavy burden. There is a place of understanding, imo. Where one has seen the complex view. Seen the huge problem. It is quite something else to look past this. There is something in the eyes in my experience. Something within a person that says, "I've seen the predicament we are in." But also something that registers as, "Isn't this the shits...!! HA."
Perhaps this is only my projection.

They can't. How would they know enlightenment unless they have experienced it?

I agree. America is going to hell. Repent your imperial ways!
...
Infatuated students deify teachers, drawing lines of ignorance in their own minds. To label any one as enlightened is rather silly as, if truly enlightened, they are greater in scope than your ability to comprehend and measure them. I suspect the best among us have no use for judgements of enlightenment. They just be chillin'...
Listen, learn, filter out the chaff. Buy their books if you enjoy them. Go pay $80 to see Deepak speak... Don't judge yourself too harshly when you realize the foolishness of this.
Perhaps follow your guru of choice and observe their every move for as long as it takes to establish certainty of enlightenment. If they defer to earthly authority (i.e. the police, personal security) they probably weren't worthy of worship.
Alternatively, a guru's reaction to torture would be quite revealing of any lingering ego issues, I would think...
I suspect that by the time you get a satisfying answer to this question you will have become enlightened or dead. Appreciate every moment until then.

Enlightenment is inversely proportional to your shroomery post count.

Well that's good cause what I've been seein and hearing about enlightenment around here lately makes me want to keep a safe distance.
By a wide margin.

you can't measure someone's enlightenment... you just have to become enlightened about the matter

What is the inverse of infinity?
Off-topic: Somewhere in my archives I have a recording of me doing a faux-Hendrix rendition of Elvis' 'Blue Christmas' on sampled guitar on my Yamaha keboard. Will try to find it - or maybe redo it for the Holiday Season.
