So that's your best effort at justification.

Epic fail.

I worked at Lowe's for 8 years. We use to throw away THOUSANDS of dollars worth of merchandise on a monthly basis. Every time we had a reset something of value that could have been sold or givin away was just throw out with the trash. I remember a reset a buddy of mine did where he threw away 15 THOUSAND DOLLARS of knobs and hinges from the hardware department. They were perfectly good, and could have been givin to charity or something. The merchandiser refunded Lowe's for the cost of the product and sent in new product. Lowe's sells merchandise sometimes 10 times what they actually pay for. More shit gets broken, thrown away, written off and used than gets stolen.

When you steal even a hundred dollar item nothing happens. Chances are they are going to destroy that item later if no one buys it because it is out of date and old. Yeah they get a credit for it, or they write it off as shrink. Shrink is basically anything that is a loss, and they have a thousand dollars a day sometimes that just gets tossed out or used. I bet super markets throw away a shit load of food that no one buys. They throw it away instead of giving it to homeless shelters or anyone that actually needs it. Sometimes they don't bring certain foods out on the floor on time and it just goes bad. I know there are people that only eat what they find in the dumpsters behind grocery stores. They are not homeless, they just don't see letting good food go to waste when it is perfectly fine.

I would never feel bad for a store like walmart or Lowe's coming up with missing items. It doesn't matter to them. I know, if everyone did it now that would be a problem. I don't steal because i don't need to and i feel bad taking things like that. If i really needed something to eat but had no money, I wouldn't feel bad going into walmart and just taking food so i could survive. I don't need to do that tho, so i don't take anything. Unless you count eating a few grapes to make sure they taste good before i buy them.

Agreed 100% with this guy. Like I said earlier it's only wrong to steal from people who can't afford to lose it, but I would never ever feel bad about taking something from a wal-mart.

What's wrong - did your dad steal your mothers virginity, then someone stole her morning after pill, and then someone stole the money for an abortion, then you arrived?

Sorry man.

Like the media posted in this thread?

http://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/5886586#5886586

Did you pay for that Squarepusher song that someone else uploaded?  Did you secretly contact them, pay for the song, then give royalty money to the band?

Or how about the other threads Ive read from you when you talk about all the music you have in your media folder, you pay for all that?

Clearly all bullshit.  And frankly stealing is no good, but bullshit bothers me more than anything.

I haven't paid for a single song since i got a computer.

Do i feel bad? Not at all. Never. As a matter of fact, i think once they put out a song it should be fair game. They would still be mega rich just from touring. I never pay to see movies or the tv shows i like either. I don't look at it as stealing at all.

Ah so the appeal to the 'well they have enough money' argument.  And let the backpedaling begin!  'Stealing is wrong, but but, not when its in this certain class of stealing I have deemed OK'

My mother actually wanted children, you on the other hand, most likely was a broken condom, grew up knowing it, kicked out of your house, and steal because no one was there to support you.
