being able to enjoy time with little kids as an equal rocks, failing that dogs are pretty good.
you find your inner child and you lose that whole guru crap.

the play ground bullies bring much of that into focus

you can see the plight of children is the same plight you have,
that it is not so new to be alive and vulnerable and full of wanting and basically cooperative.
