Maybe I'm just too young, but it seems like a painful experience. The Bears are a joke, even when they made the Super Bowl. The Cubs, well, you know. The White Sox and the Bulls had their glory. And the Black Hawks.

Cleveland fans are more puzzling. None of the their teams amount to anything, but people hold on to some thread of hope year in and year out. I just don't get it.

Chicago has had eight championships in major sports in the last twenty-five years.
