ha.. limp wristed shoulders? if grossman has anything, it is a gun for an arm now his decision making you can question. but he has plenty of arm.. as you saw by that 60+ yrd TD throw to berrian
and i think grossman wil play even better next week.. now that he got his first playoff win under his belt. he will settle down even more. and if our d plays even a lick better than today, i think we'll squeak out a win.. once again ill pick bears over saints.. by 3

I didn't mean he was weak, just blatantly homosexual
I really don't think Grossman has the reactions and instincts a truly good quarterback has. Probably because he's not a playoff vet, and perhaps in time he can change that, but this isn't the year.
And I didn't really take into effect the cold and home feild for Chicago, so they'll only lose by a little instead of a lot.

REX GROSSMAN, FTW [Re: Infrared]

OMG!
I was on vacation, just flew into Midway yesterday and stayed in the city to watch the game at the Cubby Bear, right by Wrigley Field. It was an absolutely rabid crowd, and I needed to sleep a few hours afterwords. I literally walked in the door 10 minutes ago.
That was an insane game. Seattle played better than I expected them to. Not that I thought it would be a replay of the last shellacking the Bears put on the Seahawks, but I thought we'd win by 14 or so. But man that was intense. I just couldnt bring myself to watch on a few plays, the intensity level was ratcheted up just *that* high.
Thoughts...
Does anyone NOT think Robbie Gould is the best kicker in the league? Pro-Bowl this year in his rookie season, a ROCKET leg, and ice-water in his veins. He was drafted by the Patriots, and I cant believe they let him go. A rare personel slip by Bill Belicheck.
REX GROSSMAN!!!!!!!!!
Hey, you may not like him. He may give me a heart attack if he plays much longer, but do you realize he was the best quarterback playing this weekend!? Look at the stats, he threw for more yards than Peyton Manning, Tom Brady, Phillip Rivers, Drew Brees, and Jeff Garcia. I mean...WTF? And he really should have had 2 TD's and NO INT's today. Anyone who watched the game knows what I mean. Rashid Davis dropped a SURE touchdown, and the pick was Moose's fault. But Rex played GOOD.
Also, a graphic they put up before the game. Rex has had more games this season w/ a passer rating over 100 than ANY OTHER QB...Chew on that for awhile.

That said, the defense sucks. I predict McAllister AND Bush go over 100 yards next weekend, and the bears lose by 20.
I hope I'm wrong, but shit....

i have never said rex isnt a good QB.. but unlike madtown, i dont only focus on his good games, ive look at what he has done all season.. and its been a rollercoaster.. 100's and 30's... you never know what kind of game he will throw
all depends how much weed he smokes prior to coming into the stadium

Yeah, I'm a homer for sure...
But hey, everyone has a team or player that they believe in, completely irregardless of logic or that players actual talent. I dont think Rex is the best QB in the league or anything. But I *DO* think that anyone who doesnt see his potential is blatantly not paying attention.
Yes, maybe half his games are bad. But in the ones where he's good, hes not just Trent Dilfer or Marc Bulger good. He's really really good. Like, best QB in the NFL good.
If he can get his head in order and stop having the TERRIBLE games every 3rd week, I think he'll be nearly unstoppable.
On a side note, most people in Chicago would slap me in the head for saying that.
