I wish I could say that was an original thought, but some kids in my neighborhood have that stenciled onto every single stop sign w/in a 40 block radius.

Yes, I still live in the hood.
Just renewed my lease, too.
I've lived here two years now and they haven't raised my rent once. Must just be happy to have someone who pays the rent on time and doesn't run a den of sin.

I'd love to continue it as well, but I gave up arguing with half-wit morons for lent.
Stay with me Penguarky, only a few more days!

I gave up religion for lent.
But reading Mad's post nowadays just makes me tired, so it's not worth it. Especially when talking football, where he is completely out of his element.

My perspective as a San Diego fan... I rather see Orton as the Broncs QB. Don't get me wrong, I like Orton and think he will develope, but a new QB in a new system always helps SD. Cutler has a cannon arm and although his TD-INT ratio is somewhat mediocre, he is young. Give him a decent pass protection and you will see the greatness. I do like him a lot more on the bears because it is easier to root for him. They have one of the best deep threats in the NFL (Hester, mainly because of his speed) and having a guy like Cutler will benefit the team. What they need now is a solid #1 receiver.

I really don't think Orton will start for Denver...

I have a tough time believing Chris Simms isn't a better QB than Orton.
When there was an actual quarterback competition, rather than a sham one, Orton was beat out by Rex Grossman.
Grossman will not be playing professional football this year, if that tells you how good he is.

They gave Simms 6 Million to "back up" Cutler. I think Jay was out the door as soon as McDaniels signed, but I've never heard anyone else say it. I think that's why Cutler took the stand he did, because McD wanted to get maximum value and Cutler felt betrayed.
I thought Cutler was a punk before the whole McJay gate issue, but I can see why he was upset. But McDaniels is the coach, and has a right to build his team the way he sees fit.

Troy Aikman three days ago:
Quote:
Yet he's still baffled by the falling out between Jay Cutler and new Broncos coach Josh McDaniels, a rift that resulted in the young Pro Bowl quarterback being traded to Chicago.
"I just don't get how it got to that point in such a short period of time," Aikman said. "It seems to me that McDaniels had that in mind before he even got that job. That's what was bizarre to me."
Aikman wonders whether Broncos owner Pat Bowlen would've hired McDaniels had he known the coach wasn't committed to building around Cutler.
"Maybe (Bowlen) did know it, I don't know. But it was pretty obvious, based on the timing, that Josh McDaniels knew that he wasn't real high on Cutler, if he's trying to make a trade for Matt Cassel within his first few weeks on the job," Aikman said. "Could Jay have handled it a little better? Yeah, I think maybe he could have. But I certainly don't begrudge him for being as upset as he was."

Well, thank God I'm not the only one who thought that. I was really surprised that none of the media around here ever mentioned it as far as I saw.
