God Willing 'n the Crik Dont Rise, We'll Never See Rex Grossman Again.
After the first half of tonights game, anyway. I've talked Rex Grossman up all fucking summer long, and he has looked absolutely pathetic in the first two Bears games. (1-1) While I "love" Lovie Smith, he is loyal almost to a fault. But even his patience has to be wearing thin...
This team is ready to win NOW. We have a World-Class defense, the best special teams in the league, and a good offensive line. Rex is the limiting factor here, and Lovie has to see that.
I think a bad first half from Rex will have him sitting on the bench, probably for good. And that cant be a bad thing.
That said, I think the Bears take it from the Cowboys tonight. Hopefully Brian Griese's first win as a bear.

I need Benson to put up some yards for me tonight. A couple td's wouldn't be bad either.

Thats funny, most people seem to agree that our QB depth is one of the best in the league.

Only b/c Griese, who should be starting, is on the bench. If he were starting, Grossman and Orton would be backing him up.

Hey, Orton won something like 14 games for us as a rookie.
I'm not saying he's that good, but we don't need Dan Marino, we need Trent Dilfer.

Your defense won you guys those games. He was worse than Grossman from what I remember. At least Grossman has the physical ability; Orton doesn't even have that.
2005: 9 td'd, 13 int's.
Grossman last year had 23 td's and 20 int's.

I won't argue with you.
I really dont think he's any good either.
Griese is our best option.

Yeah, but its no use worrying about whether the sofa matches the recliner when you dont have a fucking roof on the house.
