Note that EVERYONE in the group, including me, saw a clear triangular outline of a craft which turned out to be an optical illusion resulting from the brain's tendency to fill in the blanks when a piece of a pattern is missing.

Had these birds changed direction before we could identify them, I'm sure several in our group would have jumped to a wrong conclusion and sung their story of a near miss with visiting aliens for the rest of their lives.

I was completely baffled by the irregular triangle of dim lights traveling slowly in perfect formation. It made no sound even though it seemed to be fairly close. The lights blinked randomly, dimming then getting brighter in no discernible pattern. The edges of the triangle could be seen faintly glowing.

I am left to wonder how "dozens" of people were extrapolated out of "a small crowd", and "a group".....
And how one could be baffled the second time around with something so distinctly memorable....
