Religions stem from pagan astrological stories ?

Im just curious givin the many similarities between the various religions and astrology based pagan cultures how many people believe that religious leaders created religions on top of pagan astrology to get people to believe them. I dont wish to spawn religious debate but just your take on the connection between astrology and religion as well as the similarities between religions.
