Ok. I've taken girls on dates and had random one night stands and shit, but how come every time I invest fucking truckloads of time and attention on girls for a longer term relationship, I either a) discover their left ring finger is unhappily occupied by that gold ring of shit or b) they drop some line that always goes like "yeah blah blah blah my boyfriend blah blah blah" at which point I think "FUCK!, you should have said that shit EARLIER!" I think I'm not even aware of myself slowly entering their friend zone...Why are the best girls always taken? Fuck :sad:

I'm not surprised, but that doesn't mean I can't be pissed about it - because they're usually taken by assholes. The girls in turn find nice guys and have them soak up their baggage like an emotional tampon. I hate occupying this role so often - the guy you can always count on, your best friend, like a brother - but someone you could never go out with, never have sex with, never be more than just a fucking friend with. :mad2:

If you can't work a "So you and your boyfriend must..." or the like into conversation early in your relationship to feel the waters then you deserve to waste all your time on befriending these taken girls.

Don't damn the women you come in contact with for not divulging every iota of their life story. Damn your own lack of observational and conversational skills.

that's a clever way of asking I never thought of that. I normally don't try to give my intentions away right away but I've found a rule that seems to apply to me at least. If you don't get a kiss on the second date minimum, shit isn't gonna happen.

thats strange. marriage in western culture implies some kind of exclusive commitment that totally contradicts with the aforementioned. **note the ONLY exception that i might see is to acquire citizenship to a foreign country you stand no chance of living in
