I love how they would never admit that they exist, yet they create laws in the event that someone makes contact with one. That's like unicorn insurance.

And then there are the stories of anonymous people coming foward saying that the government told them not to say anything and that if they end up dead they never had suicidal tendicies, and yet somehow people refuse to realize that our government especially NASA lies alot. I can't wait until VirginMobile starts their personal space tours in 2008 :-)

1. google the text of this supposed law. i found 5 hits, none of which are from anything close to reliable archives of US law. highly suspicious, possibly fabricated from the get go.

2. this supposed law does not say "exposed to extraterrestrial life forms", let alone intelligent ones. it refers to any extraterrestrial material, living or not.

3. it refers to emergency quarantine, provisions for which must be made well before an exposure event occurs. acknowledging the possibility of such an event is not even close to acknowledging the existence of "extraterrestrials living among us". not even close. apollo astronauts were quarantined after their missions as a precautionary measure.
