Realising that you are clueless about relationships

I realised that i always wanted this fairy tale one on one relationship but in real life it doesn't work like that. You have to grow to be 'exclusive' over time.

I meet a women and think within a few hours "i'd love to get permanent with this female" yet they are social butteflies and seem to be thinking "have fun with everyone".

So that means its ok for a girl I like to be "luving" my friends as well. I got really jealous, but I realised its actually ok and it takes time to build up to a trustworthy 1 on 1 relationship.

I'm a bit pissed about my friend stepping on my toes but I take it he won't care if I step on his then in the future.

This seems to happen to me alot with women, Im such a nervous person I don't like trying to get off with them straight away and my friends always dive in for the kill just when i'm about to make a move.
