Tool on Tour

Tool is on a summer tour in the United States.

I'll be heading to the St. Louis show for sure.  Since tool is an amazing band especially when mixed with drugs, i was wondering if anyone here was planning on heading to a show of theirs.

I don't understand why they went from Atlantic City to Albany without hitting up NYC in between. :shrug:

Alrite guys, I got into the songs Schism and Sober...but I can't seem to get into anymore of their songs. I have the albums Opiate, Aenemia, Undertow and 10,000 Days... any specific songs you like on those albums?

I like all of there songs, but trys these.

Opiate: Sweat Part of Me
Undertow: Prison Sex Crawl Away 4 Degrees Flood
Aenima: entire CD ?
Lateralus: Just get it
10,000 Days: Just listen.


the more I went on, the harder it was to pick out, just give them all a chance, which songs that hit you is up to you.

how did you not grab Lateralus!? it's their best one (Aenima follows so extremely close that I almost consider them just continuations of eachtother).

i hope you relaly get into tool, they are awesome.

My first Tool purchase was Lateralus. I gave it to my cousin, he liked Slipknot so I said try Tool.

The second CD I had, after I got those other ones, I realized I lost it. I never got it again. It was pretty decent...the other ones I can't seem to get into.

I wouldn't even consider myself a fan but I'm going to the Richmond, VA show simply because I've never seen them and a bunch of friends are going.

I'm still pretty excited, though.

they're probably not the right band for you... everyones got their own taste. I especially like tool for the abnormal timing and drumming technique; their drummer is so intense

the music is more ebb and flow than song, and about experiencing something within each song that grabs you i think. if you dont feel that after a while, shit theres a lot of music out there! ;p
