that is scary. i feel bad for canada, kinda thought it might be the last bastion of hope for north american drug law reform. How long until the US completely imposses its will on canada.

I don't think this will go over well with most of the population up here in Canada.

I love how Dobbs criticizes nobody for paying attention to it and nobody reporting on it, yet he only does 4 minutes on it then it's never heard about again......The media is such a farce.

Who besides the meat industry wins big on this deal? Like you said, the coverage was piss poor. Thats about all I was able to grab. It sounded like certain industry between the 3 countries is going to be able to merge in some manor that benifits their profit margins. Dobbs didn't explain why this is bad. He hinted at it being easier to cross borders and other then that said, what was done by Bush, was against Constituional Law.

Who knows more about this?

I haven't heard anything about this on Canadian news, that clip was the first time I've heard of an American network reporting it and I watch CNN far more than ours. I'm not sure how they plan on installing this under our noses without anyone noticing, once it gains big media attention (hopefully, but doubtfully) I think a large number of people will be pissed off and hit the streets.

Alex Jones has been talking about it for months.

This actually happened last year.

I first went to the spp site to hear the warm and fuzzy version of it and then went digging for the hard cold edges of it. Here's a bit of critisim/concerns/views on it from some of the sites I found. Take them for what their worth to you. All I can say is, it sounds like its going to expediate the rich getting richer, the poor getting poorer making them a greater source for slave labor throughout North America, and the final squeezing out of the middle class, all while your tax dollars will fund the NAFTA super highway and more ports to make the upper classes dream become a reality.
