Would it be possible to split the cultivation forums?

A seperate section for the cake makers and another for grain/wbs, etc. folks?

I actually think that this is a great Idea.  sorry if I sound like a dick, but my blood boils when I'm looking for help on my bulk grows, and the forum is flooded with "Does My PF Jar Look Good?" :sherm:

i hear that you know instead of making our great mods waste more WEB SPACE they should just make a genre option box like when your posting in TRIP EXPERIENCE you can pick the option MARY JANE, MUSHROOM ECT... we should have that here it shows up under the subject of the thread either it says WBS, BULK, CAKE ECT... but splitting the threads isnt all that good of an idea i say have the sub genre option!

Good Idea, Man.  All I'm saying, is that we shouldn't have to pick through 20 fucking PF tek Qs just to find some useful info on bulk grows.  as a guitar player I equate the PF tek to a G chord.  Everytime I hear it I wanna PUKE!!! :projectile:

Yes thats the section for contaminations, but thats a general board. A sub-section with only "is this contaminated", with "picture" or "no picture" would be nice.

I guess my 2cents are that we all can learn something for everything that is posted, regardless of its specific nature. I understand the frustration with having to search threough so many threads, but I guess my reality is if it doesn't interest me then I don't read it....but that doesn't mean that thast post might not provide some tidbit of insight that someone else was looking for. Splitting it up would make a lot more work for those people that appreciate the diversity of information provided.

This topic has been discussed heavily in the past and was ultimately shot down because of the complexity involved in its management. We discussed having a beginner forum for people starting out in cultivation and an intermediate forum for the other growers. Perhaps we will revisit this again in the future, but I don't think we'll be doing anything anytime soon.

As for contamination questions, we already have a contamination forum.  All of us moderators have been busy moving threads there as soon as we find them.  You folks can help us out by posting contaminant questions in the proper forum in the first place. :wink:

The PF tek doesn't suck.  It's an excellent way to get started, and makes a great spawn to bulk.  I don't see it as separate from wbs or rye.  Get over it.
