Poll: Biggest douchebag vendor - Shroomery Sponsors Forum

The actions of some of the vendors here have reflected poorly upon all. It's time to stop generalizing and start pointing fingers.

WHO'S THE BIGGEST DOUCHEBAG VENDOR OF THEM ALL?

Let your voice be heard, or if you're a douchebag vendor just vote for your adversaries all damn day!

Vendors: I'm not implying anything by including you in this poll, some of the people included are, as far as I can tell, good people. One, some may argue, isn't even a vendor. If i forgot you and left your name out, I'm sorry, but I'm sure you're not. :wink:

I think a better question would be: How many vendors are here jsut to sell spores and make money and how many vendors are here to help people, give information and have websites where you can actually learn something about mycology other than how to grow a mushroom in a jar?

Some vendors only became interested in mushrooms when they discovered the shroomery and figured they could make money off it. They know nothing about mushrooms other than 1 specie, which they just learnt about when they discovered the shroomery.
Other vendors were involved in mushrooms before they got computers and if the internet were to shut down, they would still be invovlved in mushrooms either as edible mushroom cultivators or perhaps they give seminars or lead hikes for mycology societies, etc.

In other words, some people deserve to be vendors, they have paid there dues with years of previous mushroom endeavors. Others, albeit they may be fine webpage designers or internet marketers (spammers), are not mushroom people and if experiece held any weight, would not be spore vendors.

I think a vendor should also be somewhat of an 'expert' on mushrooms and growing a mushroom in a jar does not make one a 'mycologist' just as growing sea monkeys does not make one a 'marine biologist'.
