everything is guesswork. *everything*. i guess i exist. i guess if swami hits me in the head with a rock it will hurt. i guess the rock will not disappear in midair because previous experiments have established high probability of the rock consistently maintaining its physical density. i guess i feel emotions, i guess they're probably just a result of chemical impulses in my brain activated by stimuli from my environment in accordance with my survival instinct, i guess i have an imagination and an intuition that is separate from animal instinct that allows me to formulate questions and hypotheses which i can then attempt to experimentally prove.

everything we "know" about this thing we call objective reality is what we have assumed is probably true based on repeated experiments. spirituality, being a subjective reality (consisting, by its nature, of things *outside* the realm of objective reality) can be studied and "understood" using the same observe-propose-predict-test methodology, however, the results are always completely subjective, being that they exist outside of objective reality (or else they would cease to be spiritual truths and would fall instead under the category of scientific truths), the "test" part can be a bit more tricky and time-consuming, and it may take many hypothoses and predictions before one comes to any satisfactorily tested, probable truth. but nevertheless, it is possible to use sound logic in spirituality.

maybe you've heard this before:

all truth goes through three stages:
first it's ridiculed, second it's violently opposed, third it's accepted as being self evident [until another truth comes along to disprove the previously self-evident truth]

very true, that would explain all the tinkering going on in my brain, i feel like a spinning top with no direction, and when i finally would arrive at the answer, i wouldn't even know it for it would be soon be disproved by the next suggestion. man i'm fucked right now, do you know what it feels like for someone to tell you that even the words you type have no meaning behind them, they are only suggestion, well now you do, no offense, or is there such a thing, well this could go on for a while, if thats what it " really " is, okay i'll shut-up.
