Weilii season?

Well all these new weilii posts are suddenly coming up. Am i missing then end of the season or is it just starting up? i was thinking of making a roadtrip out to georgia, it seems rather full of mushrooms compared to what i get around here. All I found on my last hunt was some sort of big yellow agaricus, some sort of ink cap, a non active pan, and lots of empty patties.

Weilii season is really just getting underway. It's good to look right after any sudden change in the temperature. We had an unseasonably cool day last weekend and some rain, and suddenly everyone is posting pics. Good luck.

If you dont live here and arent sure where to go it would be wise to wait till september to make a special trip. You would have more of a chance to find something wrth the drive.

It's just now really starting, usually the biggest finds are in october in my experience after 3-4 days of rain but there have been some huge reports of massive finds recently.
