You know what man, why the hell not give it a shot if you just make a couple extra jars for the purpose, you're not really losing out on anything and it's all for the sake of experimentation. I've read that the addition of certain chemicals to substrate can aid in synthesis and absorbtion of such. I doubt It'd do anything, (possibly inhibit or slow growth) but as i've stated above why not give it a shot, i doubt most, if anyone, here has tried it, so who exactly would they be to discredit you in your ponderings, screw em and give it a shot, if you actually grow yourself or have "afroaf" who does, all the best to ya, and good luck in whatever your endeavours may be.

Apparently aspirin can boost fungal growth, although I don't think it has any effect on potency.
I can see why you might think Vicodin (codeine?) might increase potency, but ibuprofen? Do you get high off ibuprofen?

I was pointing out that I could see how someone who hasn't got a clue *might* think that putting codeine in substrate would somehow transfer its high-giving properties to the shrooms. I know he's wrong, but I can see why he might think this.
But, following his logic (I'm guessing here) I don't see why he would think that putting a non-psychoactive analgesic into substrate would have any high-enhancing effect.
I don't see what the highlands have to do with anything.
