I've had what seem to have been psychic experiences while on acid. I've been able to conjure up somewhat weaker experiences while sober, but mainly it just happens when I'm tripping.

Yea, every concept we act upon starts in our mind as 'magic'.

i found art took my to a higher level once i started to believe in realms more powerful and distinct then my own ego..you know, like viewing perception as a game for the ego to play with other gamers. Yes, magick improves my lifestyle. We are programmed to believe that internal motives are 'just childish agendas,' so i would say my first large jump into unknown magick was when i started to listen to 'voices' and make my art about what i was seeing and feeling from within- get me here? voice the choice to choose

after saying a big fuck you to mom and dad, and those weren't going to handle my persona at the time, i started to make sculptures.

The development of a 'spiritual life styles' makes life more responsive and able to absorb new data. Art, or anything ya'll do that is your alternative for not working too much for the man, is learning how to listen to your material at hand and to the different perceptions of those voices. don't let them command you now, that drive's people mad if they start taking the wrong advice from the wrong sources, but let your own opinions of what you hear be the main event...AL Crowley did a demonstration at Harvard university some years back, they asked him to demon-straight to a crowd skeptics a telekinesis exercise. The task was to break a glass from across the room, he said that in order to attempt a telekinetic act, one must practice one's own abilities to become the truest vibration of that thing, turn on, tune in and perform the action as though you were that thing.

..With magick, sooner or later a relationship is built, things get clearer about what your trying to do and how to do it better. For example, learning how to make a correct mistake (forgiving yourself for fucking up at times, or at other times its was saying "o yeah, i forgot, i meant to do that...let me just go with it...")

another thing spirituality has helps with, and perhaps the most important lesson it teaches, is wanting to learn more about spirituality. Reading is important, but living how we learn is even more important. Magick works, this shit works, if we try it for ourselves and see. Google Sigil Magick for a start. tiny perspectives expect the unexpected, large perspective make due. if you read this whole thing thank you- here are some pictures of my first sculptures so you can see for yourself, my avatar here being one of the first i've made.

It was Book 4, a paragraph or so, speaking about his talents in this area, not a major event but he was using it as an example of how interference can occur from outside sources all focusing on the same glass. the group was made up of skeptic teachers and such. check out telekinesis, then perhaps lack there of. Turns out it was oxford and not Harvard, nonetheless- thanks.......

I sometimes think I can tell the future.  But I won't know I've told the future until after the particular future occurs.  I will have "signs" poke out at me, and a sense of leading up to something.  Then the something happens and it's like...Oh yeah...I saw that coming.  I need help on interpretion of the signs to truly tell the future though.  But it's like my imagination will see events unfolding before they happen (based on the signs that poke out), and then they do happen, often exactly as my imagination "foresaw."

WEll, it sounds bizarre, but there it is.  Actually, I think it's just a form of common sense.  So no I don't think I have any magic powers.  Maybe just good intuition and common sense.  And a good imagination.  :tongue2:

(im not good at this forum stuff) Anyways I have that same gift.... Its a funny thing to see life in that way. At this point i try to ignore it.... I was on a trip for a while about "If i see things in the future does that meant i decide things then too and only experience them now?" After a while i got tired of trying to sort it out..... If it is so then i will do things as i will, things will happen as they are supposed to, and everything will go on with or with out me. Thats the conclusion i came to on the future idea... Just me tho.

"Centuries ago, sailors on long voyages used to leave a pair of pigs on every deserted island. Or ... a pair of goats. Either way, on any future visit, the island would be a source of meat. These islands, they were pristine. These were home to breeds of birds with no natural predators. Breeds of birds that lived nowhere else on earth. The plants there, without enemies they evolved without thorns or poisons. Without predators and enemies, these islands, they were paradise. The sailors, the next time they visited these islands, the only things still there would be herds of goats or pigs. Does this remind you of anything? Maybe the ol' Adam and Eve story? You ever wonder when God's coming back with a lot of barbecue sauce?"

I dream about future events. It's usually a weird dream about a place and people in that place. The strangest thing is that when that future occurs, i'm always on some hallucinogen. Last time it happened, was a pub i went with a couple of friends, i have never visited that place but it gave me the creeps when i went to the bathroom and i found it exactly like in my dream.

yeah, its definitely a really disconcerting feeling for me too when i see things act out just as i 'saw' they would. usually when premonition happens, like dreams, they just come and go.....this is how they are meant to be whiteness i think, some stay longer then others but most of them just pass through. Then..there are these other times and just like dreams, when it happens...ahe, Whoahh~ its like collective destiny is letting us glimpse at its own incredible eye, helping one catch their breath.

I dream about future events, too. Not big pieces, just little blurbs and excerpts. But enough to recognize what I'm seeing was a dream I had at one time.

I dreamed of en event that included my current husband when I was about 12 or 13 years old. I remember telling my sisters about a strange dream I had, and then when I met my current husband, something happened that I remembered being in that dream, all those years ago.

It can be cool, and it can be disconcerting. It is disconcerting as you said because when you are IRL and see something that was in a dream, it feels kind of weird, but it's cool when you wake up from a dream that felt like real life, and you know that you are probably going to experience that in the future some time.
