aliens?
    #5308161 - 02/16/06 06:40 PM (17 years, 11 months ago)

i have a theory about aliens... when the earth was created by the "big bang" theory microbes or bacteria had to get on the planet somehow for life to form and evolve. well i think that a meteor or asteroid that had single cell organisms that had to of come from some where hit the earth and life evolved to what we see now. well what if the meteor broke before it hit earth and landed on another far away planted and life began there also but was more rapid and evolved faster until they found out the secrets of the universe and became perfect not needing to evolve any further allowing them to travel great distances. and become so highly intellectual that they can move objects with there minds and warp time and space.maybe they are just traveling the universe looking for more intelligent life to interact with.maybe we will evolve until we become perfect and there is no need to evolve further and we will be able to figure out the secrets of the universe......

anyone got any opinions...lol

wow well um evolution is never perfected period we live in a dynamic world and there is always room for advatageous adaptations.

Life very may have hitched a ride on a chunk of rock, but why should it come from teh big bang(which if you look into you will find that at first there was only the most basic elements, at least thats what they think)? There are chunks of mars hitting earth why couldnt some chunk of some other faraway life filled plant have hit earth?

I get the impression your young, although I know you MUST be 18 since you agreed to that when you registered;) but seriously you will never stop pondering this and many other questions. Once you accept that you realize that its the question that matters not the answers. peace

There is no "perfection" in evolution. Evolution is not a predetermined course that leads somewhere, but rather a means of adapting to changes in one's environment. Thus, the idea of a species evolving to perfection is nonsensical. Evolution occurs as new demands come about.

Your idea of meteors having planted earth with life has been proposed before, but I am skeptical of it. What is more likely is that such meteors planted the building blocks of life on earth, creating what is often referred to as the "primordial stew" of organic compounds. There is reason to believe that over time, such compounds could have combined to form the first living cells.

Great theory... NOT!

It doesn't seem very well thought out. Whatever the story is about aliens, I'm sure its much more complex than that.

So you're saying that there are only two planets in the universe that are home to intelligent civilizations? And they both came from from the same meteor?

Where could this meteor have come from and how could there have been only one instance of single-celled lifeforms ever to arise?

I think the view on life by the science/astronomy community is that it's probably not a miracle that only happened on Earth. Considering the sheer numbers of stars and planets in the universe it seems impossible for life to have occured on only two planets. It's probably very common, given enough time and a suitable planet.

Hell maybe life is a natural and unavoidable state of matter..

I dont know anything though, sorry if my rant offended you. Dont feel bad, chances are I'm dead wrong about everything I just said.

I think all of our "Gods" might just have been Aliens fuckin with early humanity. Trying to make us better for the most part, with the occasional jackass who went around preaching evil, being cast as the Satan, Hades, etc etc role.

And yea ive thought about aliens being our time travelling descendants. THe only problem I have is that I dont even know if it is possible to travel BACK in time. So far the only way I can see it as possible is if there are multiple realities, which would mean they that they could never actually travel to us from our OWN future, just one highly similiar.

Like I said a man could waste his whole life pondering away on these kind of questions. There are endless possibilities.

All good theories although you're not alone in your thinking, as they've all been thought of before!

Blaze2, I like that theory, it is also quite easily applied as many 'God's' stories involve strange lights coming from the heavens

Theres a good weight of evidence that life does travel on frozen rocks through space - although its still a 'chicken or egg' type arguement as to where & how it originally started.  I wonder if the aliens have even worked this one out yet!

I find it hard to think that aliens don't exist -
Sometimes theres more traffic up there than down here!

They've been seen so long it surely can't all be man-made secrets, yet these things do appear to be intelligently controlled vehicles

I don't think time travel is likely, although I do believe its possible to see the future, I think we can only exist in the now - but I don't really have any data to conclude anyway.

im not saying that there are only 2 planets with intelligent life im saying maybe we are related somehow maybe earth and another nearby planet both have life from the same origin.if u think about it the descriptions of aliens seems somewhat similar to human.and they would probably have to be within the milky way galaxy in order to travel to earth even if they could travel at the speed of light. the nearest star is 4 light years away thats a long drive

Assuming the description is correct:

Evolution:

Large eyes = Lack of sunlight
Grey or white skin = Lack of sunlight
Spindley (no muscles) = Lack of gravity
Large heads = Evolved brains
Small mouths = Non-standard feeding procedure(?)

Just some thoughts...

I agree with your description pretty much, but it presents a problem: If their planet has less gravity than ours, it would be very difficult for them to visit Earth and not feel crushed by our gravity(even astronaughts who have been gone for only a few days have great difficulty readjusting to Earth's gravity). It doesn't seem that they would be able to support such a massive head with such slender bodies in our gravity.

i would believe that if u took a couple thousand people from earth and put them on a breathable planet with food and water they would adapt the the new environment (not the original ppl many generations later).little light and low gravity they would probably fit the description a little better... just a thought of mine

maybe all those features up there are from being and evolving inside of spaceships for so long, maybe their home world is destroyed, maybe thats why were here.

Heres something no one ever thinks about.  Everyone says "maybe we just an alien experiment", OK i bite, what kind of experiment?  hmmm well who knows were just specimens arent we.

OK, what do we know about this experiment.
1.it takes the entire span of now until mans first evolutions.
2.That man and the rest of life on earth are chemically similar
3.That they have allowed us to run rampant
4.That we have destroyed much of the life on our Earth.
5.That we have been allowed to poison the the Earths elements, air, water, and earth.

Allright since we know all that for certain, and we know that if this is an experiment(it is assumed in this argument), that they are watching us, as an experiment is worthless if it is not observed.  So then we must infer that they also know these facts.

Ok so the question is are they allowing this to happen in hopes we fix it, or was it perhaps their intention from the start?

Why would they go to the trouble of trashing a planet?
perhaps they did this to themselves at some point, and perhaps they were curious to see if a similiar species would behave the same.

perhaps they simply wanted us to mine everything for them and kill ourselves in the process, all of the metals we have mined lie on the surface of the earth for hte most part...If they were really able to scoot around the galaxy there is no reason they just couldnt have a bunch of earths full of humans all in the process of destroying their worlds, and themselves.

perhaps the experiment was free will, the choice between good and evil, is something most creatures dont have.  Sadly we tend to choose evil most often.

If they are waiting for us to fix it then they have a funny way of showing it.  Global warming is real it will continue for hundreds of years if we stopped all our CO2 emissions today.  Our Northern Ice Cap is already half gone, and will be completely gone within this century.  The gulf stream is beginning to shut down, this will result in an ice age.

The scientists just think the earth will get warmer and warmer seas will rise and all that BS dont believe them.  The Earth is balance if it gets too hot it sweats first(hurricanes intensify), if it still get warm it melts its ice caps(thats why they are there), once that happens fresh water floats on teh salt water near greenland, shutting down the Gulf Stream.  The Gulf stream is what keeps europe warm, and warm is something not needed anymore.  Thats right the gulfstream has a cutoff switch at a certain temperature.  Crazy right?  Europe freezes like siberia, east coast of US gets it too.  Next Ice Age, and after its done most of the CO2 will have dissapated and its a fresh Earth.  Its happened before and will happen again.

In fact this could be why Aliens arent stepping in.  They already know the earth will be able to handle us.  Its hard to believe that if aliens take the time to watch us for thousands of years, that now this little bout with the Earth was their reason.  In fact I know it couldnt be because its already happened before.

What if they are testing planetary systems though?  What if the point is to find out the breaking points of a habitable planet.

Damn I got high today for like the first time in months and I wrote a bunch of babblings man that feels good again.

Wow, what a load of great theories.
some one stated

Quote:

That is assuming that they have not genetically altered them selves to better suit there environment. Being a space fairing race some of those traits would be advantages that could have been added to extend there abilities and better suit them for space travel.

Some one asked
Quote:

If they can travel across the Galaxy or universe, you would expect them to be able to generate at least a small gravitational field. This could equalize the gravity difference and place them in there own gravity no matter what the planetary gravity was.

Quote:

Everyone says "maybe we just an alien experiment"

I like this one. Maybe they came across this little planet of ours and realized that at some point we would get to space travel and they would have to deal with us (Trade, etc). They began monitoring us, recording our passage of time, taking genetic samples at various times, etc. Knowing that in the future this "Information" will be of value to us. No more guessing, what to see the fall of the roman empire. Here it is holo recorded on this disk. We could sure use 30kilos of XXX. Want to trade.

Good thinking!

When it is (assumed) in that light it pretty much throws the hollywood (takeover/invasion) theory out the window.  Not that it seemed likely anyhow!

Personally I think that standard evolution is equally as likely as alien seeding or alteration.

But I do think they are watching us.

Mainly because we would be of interest - in the same way we humans study all the different species we find, as much as we can - because intelligence goes hand in hand with learning/knowledge.

Also though, we are almost (maybe are!) capable of traveling space as they do.  At which point we could become a threat to their species, or be useful to trade with, as  suggested.

About the gravitational field.

Yeah, my thoughts exactly.

The reported literature also backs this up - most abductee's reported being floated by the, also floating, beings.
