My friend, I can relate to what your going through.
The past month or so I've been having dreams in cycles... I can remember a few where I confront the source of a great, TERRIFYING, fear that disillusions me on a day-to-day basis. This fear has appeared in the form of a snake, in my dreams. I kept having the same dream with the snake, and kept waking up in my bed in the middle of the night with parts of my body "on fire" and/or paralyzed.
This particular dream ended (as far as I can tell) after one night I strengthened my will to the point where I had enough courage and love to face whatever fear that may have shown itself. The snake showed itself, but this time the fear was gone, because I had purposely seeked it out.

So my advice to you, and to myself, is to face your fears head-on, actually *look* for them when you are ready. "Being ready" just means having enough willpower and courage to completely face anything that may cross your path. Basically, feel the love, not the fear :)
